It seems that there is still much confusion amongst the general populace about how to pull off fun runs with AOK. As a public service, I have compiled the following list of tips of behaviors to avoid, in order for our fellow Argonites to enjoy their time with the premier shenanigan-lovers of Argonnessen.
a) If you join an obvious zerg LFM ( ie IP, Know the way, No hand-holding and BYOH, Speed run, TR XP sack, ect ), and do not know the way to the quest, what zone it is in, and/or are unable to reach the destination on your own, then you are an idiot, and you can, and you will be ridiculed before being dismissed.
Life lesson; Don't waste our time, and we won't waste yours.
b) Understand that we do not as a collective group, pass up vendor trash that could be converted to wealth, crafting XP, traded, ect, instead taking sufficient renown rewards to reach a 70+ guild level, for the purpose of providing you, the PuG, with ship buffs and/or crafting alters. Seriously.
Life lesson; Earn your own way, as opposed to begging for hand-outs.
c) Understand that we like to maintain ball-busting banter while completing content. It's what allows us to still run a Shroud after the mind-numbing 2 year Shroud grind that was the wait for DDO;EU. If you think that we're being too hard on another PuG in the group, you should hear our vent. The Canadian(tm), for example, deals with more **** in 30 seconds of guild vent, then any PuG has endured from our membership. Ever. So, make a witty comeback. Grease the stairs in ToD part II. Take part in the fun. I guarantee you, that if you take our jibs with a laugh, and give as good as you get in return, you'll have our respect.
Life lesson; I'm not your mommy, and neither is Turbine. You being bullied by Billy isn't our problem. Handle it. And as much foaming at the mouth saying it'll cause the PC police here, tattling to the nearest adult just makes you look weak, and paints a target on your back.
