Default Switch off player-casted effect and sparkly stuff

I would like an option to be able turn off or reduce the graphical effects of spells like Dancing ball, clouds, blur/displace affects around characters and other stuff. I think/hope this would lower memory, cpu and gpu processing. We can already adjust many things in the options, but none of it affects spell graphics.

/signed. Another reason why I never use dancing ball for my wiz.
Khyber - Pilchards: Milfeulle (Completionist Sorc), Milreaf/Millefeuille/Mireiyu(20 drone Wiz), Eweca (20 Wiz at life 5)
Sarlona - Black hands & Black feet: Misakamikoto (18/1/1 Ranger at life 3)

Agree with the thread but this confuses me... how does the mabar cloak effect 'lag' you? It just turns u invisible(With a couple bats but nothing so bad as the silly blinding effect of the dancing ball/fogs/etc when they are 'friendly' effects.)

I'm not a computer guy, so I don't know how it does, but it abso-poso-lutely does. Could be the bats, or the noise, I have no idea.

/signed, just so I can SEE

There have been times, especially in tight dungeons, where I couldn't see through all the displacement/blur/bard song notes to actually fight!

    UDR Loot Rules:
    1) No griefing people for pulling loot that dropped in their name
    2) When rolling, classes for which the item is "useful" get +10 to the roll
example: Wiz and Barb both roll on a Torc, the barb saying "I'm TRing into an arcane next week"
Wiz gets +10 on his roll
