lol and realisticly you should never use more then 2-3 per shrine.

I got 3 sets myself. Tho pulled 5.. Started to give them away when I realised if I take anymore then then 9 minutes (more like a little over 10 counting the activation delay and extra 6 seconds they have over 1min) per shrine I've screwed up.

if you run epic atdq (the pre raid) you can never have too many

Yea you can, i've run that tons on my sorc.. And I mean the old original much harder version without ever running out. These days it's not nearly as demanding..

Realisticly no matter what quest you run, no matter how long or hard, you can not and should not ever take more then 9 minutes to burn off a mana bar (and even taking 9 minutes involves being ultra conservative with sp). Just doesn't happen less your drink lots of pots which defeats the purpose of the gloves.

So in a quest with no shrines for 9min what do you do?
Use a self rest shrine. Ultra easy to acquire these days (3 ebberon shards).

And you can keep a mana bar for more then 9 minutes if you know how to use your SLA's effectively.. lightning bolt can do more damage then my chain lightning when i use it properly, it just takes practice. (this is on my sorc)

go look at the adventure level in the ss, as you can see its level 16 and not 15.

Done it on 12/23/2010 on my Sorc life with Festivult Jester 10% xp bonus. No pots, used shrine, all vale quests feels like a walk in the park. Best personal record is 6 min back then, need to dig out some more old screenshot. All I can say is meteor swarm and invis rules.
