Looking to run 3 Favor quests

So, having abandoned my need to have everyone of my toons at max favor sometime ago, I haven't completely lost the urge.

So, I have one toon now that is close to favor cap. After having had 8 at one time, I find this distressing to not even have one, but...

I need 3 quests to get Favorhor (reincarnated favored sould that lost over 2800 favor at that time... grr) to get her back to cap. I am looking for some help in that endeavor as these seem to be hard to other folks to help with and can be troublesome anyway.

1. Hound - I have this on elite on 7 of my toons, but it seems harder these days to get a group to run it successfully for some reason.

2. Dreaming Dark - As mentioned in a different thread recently, the DR is mard for most folks to break. I didn't even realize an upgraded dreamspitter would do it. I will get mine upgraded, but I still will need some other folks to help out with it.

3. Stealer of Souls - This seems to be more a result of the flagging mechanic and the fact that you can beat it on Elite, but fail to get the chests with the runes and have to rerun the three quests just to get back in makes this risky to run on elite for those that have bothered to be flagged for it in the first place. Although, the risk is minimal to me as completing is really my only objective that doesn't limit it for the others most likely.

SO...

Could I get some volunteers to help me? I am looking at trying to do one or more of these starting this Sunday evening (I'll be out of town most of the weekend).

What's even stupider on my part is that I think I am planning on TRing her again, but I just want this done to have it done even if its only temporary.

I want to do that dreaming dark thingy on elite on my wiz. But the plumbing connecting my intarnet pipes to world wide plumbing system is clogged. I have added liquid plumber but have to wait till tuesday to flush the gunk out.

Well, I managed to get in as the twealth into a group and we just completed a 16 minute Elite HOX. It was pretty awesome. I think we had big beholders three different times. Thanks for letting me in and thanks for awesome recovery skills...

Now for a try at SOS and Dreaming Dark.

And, my good fortune continued as an Elite SOS was up just after finishing the Hound. We finished with about 10 minutes to go. Although, we ended up abandoning the Sorjek fight at 75%... those mephits just kep coming and coming... ;-)

dreaming dark isn't too hard. 3 melees can box him in (IF your melees aren't completely incompetent) and you can have 3 others use ranged damage from beyond his range to hurt.

for bonus points, have 3 pale masters box him in (only thing he really does much damage with is that he stuns, and does horrid wilting; pale master should be immune to both, but may only be immune to stun) and keep auras active, while some ranged just drop him from across the room. with death ward (not block) on, the adds don't deal any damage at all, his ranged dps is weak or nonexistant afaict, and he won't melee if something at range has aggro

nice observation/tactics. but the trouble has ben finding 3 ppl to do the whole boxing in thingy. ppl either complete it on casual to use the forge or just ear worm farming on elite.

Well, we ended up 3.5 manning it. Our caster got tired and didn't see much chance in us getting it done when we were still at 95% after 15 minutes of end fight or so. But the three of us, my favored soul and a ranger and a pally managed to tough it out. Many shot helped quite a bit and after a while I did a lot of shield blocking to get back mana and blade barriering the nightmares when they appeared. Occasionally I pulled out my upgraded dreamspitter for some beatdown. Add in my DOT and shoulder cannon for some other DPS and 94 min after I got in, we completed.

YAY!

I saw the group up but by then it was almost midnight here. I start work at 7 in the morning.
