Default Now that unbound crafting is here...

Can we please change bound crafting back to bind to character? Otherwise you may as well scrap unbound crafting completly as no one will ever buy an unbound shard for even close to what the materials costs, let alone what it costs to get to a high enough level for it.

As of right now, holy shards (arguably the 3rd best shard after holy burst and the right greater bane) are sitting on the AH for less than half the materal cost (at half the AH prices, which means about 25% of the true material cost if you need a steady supply as a crafter would), and still no interest.

Oh and the lack of enhancement bonus recipes for unbound crafting is almost as severe of a nerf to unbound crafting. Hopefully that was just an oversight.

Edit: Oh and you'd have to fix the bug where disjunctioning and crafting a BTA item stays BTA

crafting is in beta. The state crafting is in today =/= the state it will be in tomorrow.

Who knows if things will always be as they are now with crafting? I see alot of indicators that they will not be, due to the many changes that have been made to the system already.

I'd vote no on that change, at least until the cap gets raised to the point that all currently available bound shards are available via unbound.
We still haven't seen the recipes to make use of the cannith crafting specific per adventure pack items yet either.
Would rAther not be left stuck leveling all toons because they jumped this particular gun.

keep the bound shards bta. It is impossible to get greater banes and such with unbund shards, and I don't want to reach lvl 65 divine on all of my melees. I don't see unbound shards as a way to make money, I just see it as more recipes to level with which require less essences

IMO, BtC should be reserved solely for named raid loot and epic gear.

It's always a shame when the hammer of poor design choices smashes the fun of player tactical adaptation.

Bound shards are just that....bound. Bound to account makes more sense then character. I am sure once the crafting gets tweaked more they will bring better crafting to the unbound shards, but for right now unbound just gives you more xp for less essences.

Leave shards BtA, let unbound crafting be used for exchanges between dedicated crafters and players that do no crafting.
BtA also encourages shared bank sales, unbound crafting is still there if you don't have one.

So far the thing that spoils unbound craft is the high demand of essences, raising the prices, but this may self-correct eventually (or not, if u look at ah in general).
