FvS PrE aura fixed?

Did anyone check if the FvS Aura of Menace-fix made it to Update 10? That the aggro-generating aura should be suppressed while sneaking or invisible?

There are zero changes in update 10. There wasn't even a patch. What on lam is actaully an older version then whats on live. The only difference is the new adventure pack is enabled.

So no, that couldn't be changed.

It's not unworkable. It does make some things challenging, but as long as you're not trying to stealth-solo Epic Claw, you'll be fine - espescially on a TR.

Well, unworkable it of course isnt, just that the added efficiency and completion speed of running invisible when soloing low/mid level content is worth much more than the PrE gives. At least until I get Blade Barrier.

Really inexcusable that this isn't fixed. It was acknowledged as a problem 2 weeks before U9 came out, and we were told that there wasn't enough time to put a permanent fix in, but that a temporary one was being worked on.

Well, now it's been 2 months. We have neither fix. I submit that sufficient time has passed.

So, where's our fix?

The only time I really didn't like it was for some of the desert side quests that I'd ordinarily zerg invisibly (Physician / Astrologer) - the rest of the time it wasn't such a big deal.

And yes ... then you get BOTH Blade Barrier and your shoulder cannon. Good times then, 'cause it don't matter anymore.

Trick, BTW, if you use a hireling.

Zone into dungeon. Name hireling champion. Put crown on hireling. Turn hireling passive. Tell hireling to wait. Turn hireling invisible. Zergy zerg zerg. You can still do a 1-2 minute chamber run, but annoying-ish.

I see no one has mentioned that it will turn all the normally passive monkeys hostile in Mining for Ancient Secrets - sure, you can't get Conquest without them, but level 20s just want pie pieces, not Conquest.

OK, cool, thought the aura went back to me as soon as the hireling was out of reach. I will have to try this - I keep a bunch of 1st level hirelings at hand for quick quest resetting anyway.

There is a time-factor to the aura setting back to you. It isn't isntant in my experience.

Just run really really fast ;-)

Even if you crown someone else, the debuff aura is still on you, and it's what causes the aggro.
