That's a terrible attitude. Is your group in such a hurry that you can't spare the 30 seconds it takes? sheesh. Plus, is that buffer the last one to join, and once joined you're just going to enter instantly? No, you're going to take a minute or two to maybe go over some standing orders, check vox, maybe go over loot rolls, whatever. A good leader will take a minute before rushing in to say a few words to his party. And while we're listening to your briefing, I can be buffing and heading to the entrance.
Honestly, if you're that impatient, PLEASE kick me... I'm not predicting a very enjoyable run with you and yours... (thankfully it'll never happen, unless you plan to bring your cabbage headded attitude to Thelanis).
Whatever, to each his own.

I have left many a player behind (literally started quest without them and they did not get in the quest in time and thus shut out) because they thought it was o.k. to make 11 people wait while they get ship buffs. Get your buffs before flagging.. Time is precious. Your time is not more valuable then the group's time you selfish %!^!@!#.

People don't seem to get it, so I'll spell it out a bit better.
If you mention or ask for buffs, you get kicked.
Stop asking for them and get them on your way to the quest.
Most people log in and out from the airship anyhow right?

If I need my XP shrine I will take it. I usually don't bother telling anyone that I am ever getting ship buffs anyway, I just simply state that 'I'll be right there!'.
I do get the OP point, but it goes both ways as well. There are times I have gotten all my ship buffs, went to apply, and gotten no response. No decline, no accept, just nada; so consideration of others is a two way street yes, but I have learned to do things a certain way, like:
1: be on the guild ship when applying
2: start beating down the dummy right after applying, to cut down on buff time
3: when accepted into a group, be considerate of how many people are in the group (if I am the last to join, I will speed up the buff time, perhaps only grabbing that essential XP shrine)
I understand that ship buffs are not necessary, used to not be here, etc.. I am perfectly capable of deciding when I feel they are necessary however and reserve my right to use something I/we have earned.
Have fun folks!![]()

Wow Crulax you sure opened a can of worms here.
If it matters at all, I agree with ya. I've joined raids and while headed to the navigator gotten one buff or another that takes little to no time. Xp shrine and healing amp bonus come to mind. What makes me batty is standing around waiting for multiple people who join in the last positions to beat on a training dummy.
Really though, I thought this was a standard practice in your guild. I haven't run with you guys for awhile though. Been all kinds of busy with my TR'ing toons.
