Shipbuffs equal boot...

So I have said it before and I will reiterate here again for people that seem to have trouble understanding it.
If you join my party and mention shipbuffs to run any raid on normal(Pretty much any non epic raid) I will kick you from my party no questions asked.

just go ahead and list all ur toons so i will know who not to group with.

Why wouldn't you want to wait for my Wizard to melee that training dummy down with my greater potency dagger? You never know when I might need to fall back to some good old hand to hand.


If you let them know up front then they knew what they were getting into (put the conditions in the LFM). If you didn't then your just being silly unless you only allow people who read your threads on the forums to hit your groups (is that in your LFM?).

I think your dagger is OP...try using the Starter Dagger.

All my toons are public so feel free to add them to your list. I have probably made a few peoples list in this thread. I have never had any issues filling anything that I run so meh.

I think your dagger is OP...try using the Starter Dagger.

Well I used to use the Club of the Holy Flame for the extra holy and flame damage when beating on the training dummy but then I broke my mouse from all the clicking and a guildy suggested I upgrade.....

I can understand hard/elite getting shipbuffs for some and as far as lvling lowbies then yes shipbuffs are the bomb. I am mainly tired of people thinking they need shipbuffs for raids that are being run on normal difficulty. Or people who wait for it to fill before going and getting them. I almost never get shipbuffs normal or epic. I believe that at endgame they are huge waste of time. This is just my opinion however.

Also if your going to neg me please at least have the guts to say so.

How much grinding do people do to get their gear that only adds +2 to their damage, strength, ac, etc.? Ship buffs can add +4 to hit and 3-3.5 damage per hit. Every little buff adds up.

It's funny you say they're a waste at end game. My barb, completely geared to the teeth, died in Epic Wiz King yesterday and I lost my ship buffs. Was using a +3 weapon with a 76 strength and I was getting misses while trying to twitch. Those misses = loss of dps.

Also if you're going to kick someone from your group at least have the guts to say why.

It's your group, your rules BUT unless you've made the rules known you're just capricious and rude.
- Tell them to come immediately when they join, and/or
- Specify in the LFM you don't want to wait

Buffing once for a quest or once every shrine. I wonder what takes more time.
But it's good, I hope you boot me, dont particularly want to group someone that cant figure that out.

The people that annoy me are the people who are among the first to join the raid. 10 minutes later the raid fills another 5 minutes or so the last person is there and announces they are buffed up and ready to go. *Then* the guy who has been in the party from the start announces hes going to go get his ship buffs. And takes an age to get them.

what I do while im waiting for a raid or quest to fill is I stay on my ship, keep my buffs up, check my mail, look at the ah whatever so when we are full im all set to go.

Even if you were a big enough d**k to boot someone from your party for getting ship buffs, and I believe you are, what makes you think anyone else needs to know this?

Thank you Disavowed for putting it nicely. I do tend to post in full rage mode sometimes. All I am asking is if you feel the need to get shipbuffs please do so before hitting the LFM. Is that really to much to ask. I am mainly tired of people who where one of the first few to join waiting untill the party is full before going "Herp derp I need shipbuffs". I understand shipbuffs are a nice little boost and all but I am incredibly impatient and prone to being a @##!@!@.
