hire yourself out to an alt as a hireling

how bout the idea of takeing a toon you have and love playing with and useing said toon as a hireling for one of your OTHER toon's?

setup the #1 toolbar as the useable spells, last 4 being the spells cast by player and the first 6 being spells cast automaticly by the hireling AI, leaving the first 6 open for the standard come to me, fight , protect, ect...

basicly take a snapshot of your guy in a "shop" and for a price save the info as a account bound hireling contract that you can then use with another guy just like normal.

if ddo see's fit they can even allow NOT bound to account, so we can hire ourselves out to others to make a few plat and see who's hireling is wanted most...

i really, really like the idea, but i agree with the overpowered part. maybe if it was just with standard weps (+5 great axe, etc store stuff).

Only after they remedy hireling AI... Just don't think I could be play that toon again after watching how *missing in cognitive ability* it would be as a hireling.

Imagine if they were gold seal and you could summon more than one at atime you would never need to group again, you would be a group unto yourself and there are plenty out there with alts who could fill raids themselves. Kind of spooky, lots of middle aged guys, sitting in bean bag chairs eating cheetos naked playing by themselves.
