Hunter of he Dead and Marilith Chain

If I have the Hunter of The Dead final tier enhancement, am I immune to the negative level bestowed by that armor?

Or asked differently:
Does any regular effect negating negative levels negate the level bestowed by that armor?

that prestige does not prevent negative levels caused by items such as the demons consort bracers. It's a safe bet that it will not prevent penalties from that armor either.

When a guildmate of mine was HotD, he still got a negative level from equipping an Anarchic weapon.

My thoughts as well. I just wanted to know because I could use it right now but the negative level affects some UMD based gear and the question here saved some time to find out by respeccing or trying to get different end gear setup.

Thank you both, I guess I have to find out myself then on lvl. 18 to be sure or just use dragontouched + Bloodstone which kinda bugs me because there are many nice trinkets.

Neg levels from gear are less severe than neg levels from other sources. You can pretty much ignore them except on high AC mobs.

It is just the effect of -1 to skills atm. and thus I was wondering if there was any possibility to negate the level. On lvl. 20 well lets see I have several options for seeker+6, pirate hat, chain or bloodstone but for lvl 12 it would have been an awesome dps boost.

Didn't solve cause I was using one already but thanks to crafting I got a ring with +3 competence bonus to CHA skills now (could have thought 'bout that earlier he). All fine now. But honestly... why does every good armor has to look like /vomit.exe
