Opinions on the new games/ console add-ons (only saying Add-on since WiiU looks like BS)

My thoughts atm:
PC - Don't Care
Skyrim - FUMPING GODLIKE
Halo 4 - Microsoft and 343 will screw up
PS3 - Don't care
AC: Revelations - Looks orgasmic
Halo CE revamp - Looks cool, wouldn't mind some nostalgia
Nintendo - Too Casual

Some major questions I ask is, why a Halo 4? Covenant and Humans made peace, the flood is dead, only possible enemy is new aliens or Forerunner. Worst thing they can do is put Master Chief back on earth with a strap on while frolicking through a field of flowers in the most flamboyant way possible.

The WiiU, too casual? You're out of your mind, they're picking up a number of the 'hardcore gaming' franchises and we'll see a lot more of that sort of gaming on the WiiU than we did on the Wii, I'll just about guarantee it.

Mind you, I'm a Nintendo fanboy, but even discounting that I'd say that you're not on track at all. And of course, as is obligatory, I would like to point out that this is another slam-dunk from Nintendo, who will continue to dominate the console market for another generation unless either Sony or Microsoft can manage to come up with a single innovation between them. For which I am not holding my breath.

while nintendo may be picking up those hardcore franchises, I believe the WiiU looks like a clonk. I mean... I think Gameboy advance was big for this age, but the WiiU looks like an oversized Gameboy advanced with a touch screen. while it may take off, I'm holding my breath on it's popularity. on a side note.. what is with the button positioning? O.o

well with the failure of motion controllers (my theory is the more i say it, the more people will walk away from gimmicky wrist-flicking devices), its good to see that nintendo is moving onto something semi-serious, theyll have to do quite a bit of advertising to change their image though, im pretty sure the wii had less power than the ps2

Anything cool coming out for Xbox Kinect? I got one for my bday but waiting for some awesome games to really enjoy it.

Mass effect 3 will utilize kinect by allowing you to speak the dialogue options as well as command squad movements and actions real time.

Looking forward to Battlefield 3, which on the PC will not be a console port.
Liked the new trailer for Star Wars online.
Star Wars on the Kinect looks fun.
Mass Effect 3 looks awesome.
Fable 3 looks epic fail.
Dark Soul on the PS3/Xbox 360 (follow up game to Demon Soul, which was probably the hardest game I have ever played) looks good as well and they said it is just as hard with no "easy" button.

Oh and I forgot Batman Arkham City, I can't wait to play this.

I actually havent bought a nintendo system for myself since the SNES (during 64 era I lived with some friends who gamed so we each bought different consoles always). I havent even played much by nintendo since 64 although I did buy a wii for the kids.
I was considering picking up the new gen...but that stupid garbage in the middle of the controller...I dont know. I've never liked gimicks much.
At least with some of their old gimmicks I could still play with them sort've. And by play with I mean shoot. Rip Rob.

If using that stupid screen turns out to be optional for most games I might check it out.

The highlight was as always listening to Tak trying to describe..well anything.

I prefer 360 > PS3, the PS3 controller feels awkward to me especially the way they try to make R2 and L2 "Triggers"
