    This.

First thing I thought when I saw this +10 bonus was that another "line" was crossed considering loot -- before, we had +5 as the highest bonus (at least on any easy-obtainable non-epic stuff, correct me if I am wrong). Now it is +10.

If they made it a simple +5 resistance item with some extras, it would be a very nice item for non-vets -- given the fact how difficult it is to find a +5 resistance item on the AH on Khyber right now (didn't see any for < 200kpp).

It's actually a pretty good idea to make items that boost a single type of save have a higher enhancement bonus than +5. What use is there to have an item that boosts one type of save if you can get an item that boosts all three types at once? But 10 seems kinda outrageous still...

DT armor with +5 resistance is pretty easy to get btw.

Did you try to bug report it?

I took the monk levels for lightning reflexes + iron will, and way of the clever monkey, plus they give me higher base saves (My base reflex save is 1 higher than a level 20 rogue, although the +2 dex capstone would even that out). The fighter levels got me ranged specialisation, imp critical, and heavy repeater kensai.

I'm going rather offtopic here, I just clicked into this thread because my rogue was built for reflex saves and it interested me, but I had a lesser heart of wood in my bank that I found in a chest ages ago, went ahead and used it and made my rogue a bit more useful:

Im still a mech since I already made a GS heavy repeater, and swapped Rapid Reload to Toughness, and Dodge, Mobility and Shot on the Run (yes I was originally crazy enough to take these) to the healing dragonmarks.

I changed my base stats from 20 dex, 14 con, 16 int to 18 dex, 16 con, 14 int, and 14 cha (for UMD). My UMD is at 39 now without buffs, so I can easilly use heal and resurrection scrolls, as well as having the healing dragonmark, and my HP will be 400 after I get a GFL belt from devil battlefield quests

Ah, forgot about that one. I'll just stick to reporting insane stacking reflex bonuses on lamannia

Oh please don't tell me this is the real reason holy aura stacks with items. I like to think that you devs are kind enough to give us a stacking save bonus in holy aura since you won't implement its true functionality as a blinding guard effect, although my terrible DC makes me appreciate it having no save right now, even though it is only a one shot effect.

It is somewhat gamebreaking, considering how easy it is to obtain the item and the upgrade.

This. Though I think a +8 is too generous, IMO.

i dont really see why people are saying the +10 is game breaking.

very few people are actually gonna use the armor at level 20.

so its a temp item at best for the majority of the game. if +10 was on dt then it might be gamebreaking or if +8-10 was an epic slot itd be gamebreaking because many many more people would actually make use of it.

I'll likely get one on Evasion characters for occasional use (trap-avoidance etc), although I won't wear it permanently on any character.

    /signed

Compared to other item combinations you can wear, it would only be useful in a couple specific quests.

The Parasitic Breastplate has a rather nifty skin, and I'm trying hard to find excuses to wear it but I can't quite manage anything.

Actually, I imagine a substantial % of folks will have a set for eVoN 6 bases ... not that they'd actually need it, but if it's just a couple casual grinding runs through the quest chain, yeah, they'll have 'em.

Hmm, could it be the reason for PfE stacking with resistance (you know, that 5-year-old bug we keep reporting....)

.... The Belt of Tounge shouldn't be stacking with standard Resistance for Will saves, and a reflex save (trap blast) should stack with resistance. If this is broken on live as well, ARGH indeed.
