Default Need some help picking last feat

    Hey guys,

I'm nearing lvl 18 on my air savant WF sorc and have to decide on the last feat. I already have:

    wiz past life
    SF: evocation
    Empower spell
    Maximize spell
    Heighten spell
    Toughness

There are a couple of options for me: quicken, spell pen or a random spell focus (enchantment?). Which one would suit me best? Can I do without quicken? How much concentration do I need to not be interrupted in epics?

    Thanks for your time.

You can never have enough concentration in epic quests to never get interrupted.

    Concentration =

When you take damage you roll a D20 + your Concentration score against a difficulty class of 10 + the damage received + the level of the spell you are trying to cast.

Which means...lets take a standard 50 damage hit from an epic enemy you would need to roll a 69+ to not get interrupted. And as we all know..alot of epic enemys hit for more than 50.

I would choose quicken. But thats just me because i hate to get interrupted

Depends. If you use a lot of spells that require SR checks and only have the one past life I'd go with Spell Pen. If not, Quicken looks like the best choice, there's a lot of places you just can't make your Concentration checks or don't want to risk one. If you for whatever reason didn't want either of those; I'd recommend GSF:Evocation instead of a random SF in another school, to help you land those offensive spells.

Think that quicken is the best for me then. I prefer to be able to always heal myself in tricky situations.

Do Warforged really need Toughness? If you use instead death spells or debuffs a lot, then spell penetration. You dont need Quicken because you're a sorcerer.

I have a hard time justifying Quicken on a sorc. I also have a WF Air Savant and I went with Greater Spell Focus: Evocation to help make up for my -2 CHA penalty. As an Air Savant, you can get out of danger pretty quickly with Wind Dance most of the time.
