    Default System upgrade advice

I am looking to upgrade my computer. Currently, i play DDO on the lowest quality settings, and frankly, i really want to be able to play on the highest quality setting with no lag(well, no more than usual).

i am also wanting to be able to download LOTRO and try that out, but have enough free space to operate quickly and so forth.

Now, i am not computer literate enough to "build my own" as some have suggested. Really, when looking at what is offered today in most stores, i can for the most part understand what all these crazy numbers and letters spell out, but really, it is quite confusing. This doesn't mean i am not wanting /willing to learn.

So, does anyone have some advice on what i should be looking for?

    I would recommend avoiding Dell.

Are you wanting a desktop or a laptop? Are there any other features that you'd like your new system to have?

Would recommend looking at Cyberpower or Ibuypower. You're better off with them than the big names, pluss you can tweek your system to how you want it.

would be looking into a desktop setup.
currently have a laptop. would rather designate it as a travel tool that i can play ddo on.
I know it sounds very general, but i really just want a good gaming set up that can also provide me with decent browser interaction, as well as some sort of Word or Microsoft works esc program.
