Maybe they will stop spending 50% of their time on the game's Facebook feed and game trailer movies and actually make the **** game already. It's been in beta for almost as long as DDO has been F2P. It's been in the works since BEFORE DDO was released.

This game better be the most epic thing ever or it will end up being AoC'd.

Neat trailer. Have absoulte zero interest playing the game. I am not that big of a Star Wars fan and I HATE "futuristic" games.

while I don't hate "futuristic" games, I have yet to find a "futuristic" role playing that I have enjoyed.

Unlike most game developer groups, who try to rush MMO's out the door and wind up sucking, BioWare wants to take their time to polish out all the bugs. They also want to make this one of (if not the best) MMO in existence. The Facebook feed and trailer movies were handled by other groups within BioWare Austin, not the developers; the developers are hard at work making and implementing content.

One such example, your companions (recruit-able NPC's) can go out and perform missions across the galaxy while you go out and run missions, and they can do the crafting for you... even while you're logged off. Of course, the player can still participate in the crafting themselves if they so desire.

This is the only MMO that will distract me from DDO... now that Neverwinter may have a permanent delay.

Cool trailer. I liked the one from last year where the girl stops a lightsaber with her hand better though. I'm sure I'll check it out whenever it releases, there hasn't been a good space/sci-fi MMO...well, ever really. Tabula Rasa had some fun aspects. Earth and Beyond also. Can't think of any others I liked much at all.

And I agree, just put the people making these trailers in charge of the star wars movie franchise. Lucas lost his marbles.

It's not delayed - they just put out a teaser trailer at E3 yesterday for Neverwinter.

The main speculation for a delay/cancellation is that Atari has sold off Cryptic. But, it seems like the game is moving forward as before, regardless of the sale.

After watching This Video, I have just affirmed my intention to play this game. When it does come out, DDO is going to be put on the backburner. Good thing I'm premium and have all the content that DDO offers so far. Wont need to come back to nothing later.

I agree with you in that i dont particularily like star wars and ive never been into futuristic fantasy/games either....
Then i bought mass effect....
I loved dragon age and figured mass effect 2 might be worth playing since its from bioware....
All i can say is wow..
If you call yourself(not you in particular ) a gamer and love rpg's or loved dragon age do yourself a favor and give mass effect a chance..
Then once you have played through mass effect think how cool it would be to have an mmo with that type of live action combat...
Then come back here and tell us what you think about this bioware mmo..

The guilds are being formed now. and Bioware will use the info they are already getting (you can attach your account to a guild) to figure out which guilds will go on which server come launch. At that point the guilds will be already formed and in game.

Yep, and I noticed that they are focused on opening PVE servers, PVP servers, and RP servers (Which are PVE, but MORE casual).

I'm not sure if I will play this or not. The cinematics look great, but for my money they have never done better than Jedi Knight: Outcast for game play. Too bad they can't convert that into an MMO. This game is almost nine years old and still looks and plays better than most anything out there.

hum I would play it as a single player game, but for an MMO the combat looks weak and would become very grindy and repetitive IMO.

I was surprised, some of the original trailers from a while ago looked good, and the cinematics looked fantastic, but I probably wont partake.
