Greater Teleport Icon Upgrade

In my prior thread suggesting a few tweaks to the icons for the Teleport location list, it was mentioned a few times that Greater Teleport should be upgraded as well. And, I agree... I think that all the GT locations sharing one icon is just dull, drab, and bleh. But, this was a bigger challenge - since five out of the seven have no defining icons.

I tried to create a few different looks for the locations, but then I realized that it's not about where you are going with these zones... it's why you are going there. So, I went in a different direction, and I kinda like the results.

With the exception of the Portable Hole, Meridia, and Restless Isles - all the locations have readily identifiable icons pre-made with the raids tied to those locations. So, I went with that - and put a portrait of the raid-boss in that area. Yeah, I know that the Isles could have used the Titan twice - but my objective was to come up with something unique for all the locations and not recycle them myself.

I was tempted to make a Harry-Head for the Meridia icon, but I figured with having proposed a new one in my last thread - making two suggestions (and icons) for the same location could be confusing. So, I stuck with my prior do-over of the Meridia Tree.

I think that this list is far more appealing then the current one. Once again, I hope the Devs think about upgrading this frequently used aspect of the game. Still not a huge, game altering upgrade... but I think it'd be a worthy one.

Though - I'm not sure that I understand why you have to be in an instance to use Greater Teleport. IMHO, it greatly reduces the usefulness of the spell. Perhaps someone could enlighten me. Or, we can also lobby to have Greater Teleport work in public areas (the times when I really need to warp my party members around).

Having to go somewhere like the Sub does seem like a waste of time just to use the spell...

Thank y'all for the kind words.
I think Turbine has a robust enough art department without me (not that I'd say no if they offered), as the art resources are usually the highlights* in each new update. I'm just trying to show what's in my head when I look at these things and think of how they could be improved.

On to my next project.
