    Default Paid my Sub....not a VIP

    Lord, how long does it take for this to go through? I already had to jump through hoops to actually pay...now I'm waiting to actually be declared a VIP by Turbine's not so benevolent server:

    Ok, just got done reading the full game ToS, interesting thing to note is that the ToS doesn't state limited liability for turbine's payment processing system, only for the Game servers themselves. So if it takes then 1-2 days of my 30 day subscription I actually have grounds for complaint.

    Seriously, I've never played an MMO where it takes them so long to allow a single line of data in an SQL table to go through...perhaps it's time turbine hired somebody to do their backend properly...

    Hey Maxon,

    I recommend checking with your bank that the payment fully processed. Also be sure to fully close and then reopen your game client.

    If you still have problems, please contact the Account Management department and someone will be happy to assist you. If you "lost" any days, also contact them.

    I paid via paybycash using an ultimate game card and they sent me a key, which I entered and which was confirmed as entered by e-mail from yourselves. I've tried entering the key again and it says the key is in use (The Game Card you entered is already in use. [err: 30016]). Not a problem on my end.



    Edit: Have e-mailed account management, I refuse to call overseas so I guess I'll just wait the indeterminate time until somebody e-mails me back.

    This is actually a known issue. They will take care of you, and any "lost time".

    I have this problem sometimes. The easiest way to handle the issue is to apply a game card a couple days before payment is due and immediately call customer service to make sure they click the right buttons on their end and you don't lose play time.

    Cool i didnt know there was customer service in the forums . ALways thought it was a myth xD so, that mean there is founders,customer service people, adminastrators am i missing anything?

    hi victorie, can you help me check with my account. i got the same issue:Submited a game card NOT being upgrade to VIP. Turbine sent me the same E-mail like his one.

    I can't fix accounts on the forums. You'll need to submit a web inquiry by following the directions in my email. Once you do, be sure to read any emails they send carefully, and reply if they have questions or require a reply so they know that the suggestion didn't fix you.

    Please note that if you apply the next GTC before the time runs out, there is absolutely no need to contact support. In this specific case, it will work properly.
