    Default Green Steel Shards

Had a Mind fart and I'm a bit short on shards. Realized this on my 36th shroud, wanting to craft a LitII Daxe before I TR at 40 completions. Poor luck since then and Im still short one of each shard after my 39th completion.

Is there a way in the new crafting to make a shard for Green steel? I figure no, but worth asking.

Does Elite or Epic Devil Assault drop shards?

Pretty sure shards are BTC, but the blank DAxe is not, until equiped. I have some shards on another character, can I build a Full LitII on him and then use the shared bank to transfer it back?

Any where else in the game that I might farm some shards?

Or is the best option just keep running shroud past 40?

    Thanks

Nope, the only place to get GS shards is in the shroud, they are BTC. Greensteel blanks are not BTC, abut as soon as you put a crafted shard onto a green steel blank, the Green steel blank becomes BtC with it's tier that you just put on it.

I don't think you will have too much trouble getting your shards in a shroud run.

Thats what I figured, but worth trying to confirm. I know the first two drop alot, and the third at a decent clip, just so bored of shroud and wanna TR

Yesterday I was trying to get my GS done for my barbarian, and I found I was short a shard set. So at the beginning I just told everyone I needed shards, and then made sure I was quick on the draw at roll time, and didn't hold up the group with Shard begging. And lo and behold, I got a small, medium and two supremes and made my LitII GA at the end. That was a great group.

All three types of shroud shards drop in epic Devil's Assault. I've also got one shard of power on elite, so I'm guessing other types should be possible to get too, tho the chances on elite are much lower than on epic. Great shards of power also drop in ToD part2.

I stand corrected, I've never seen it, but I've only run a handful of eDA and elite DAs.

You also get shards in Tower of Despair.

Quite frequently greater shards in the chest before Horoth, and more rare supreme shards after killing Horoth.
