    Default Tier three PrEs

Assassin is the only one with a tier three right now but does anyone have any clue to what tier three for Acrobat or Mechanic might be to compete with the vorpal effect that Assassin has? Has anything been released for this or when they are going to be released other then "Soon" or "in the future?"

Lots of speculation and wishful thinking, no information.

When something concrete is announced (or just shows up on Lamaland silently) you'll see extensive reviews and about 80 posts on how it's either completely worthless or how it's going to bring new life to what are now flavor builds. Possibly both.

I could see Acrobat getting a Tier 3 to give it some usefulness outside of a deep splash, a la HOrc Monkrobat. But Mechanic is almost completely useless since they dropped trap DC's game-wide. I ran my rogue as a mechanic until about level 14. Sure, I could get lots of traps above level, but my combat ability above level was insignificant to non-existent. If I could even hit the mobs, I wasn't doing nearly enough damage to matter.

So, when I GR'd to get 32 point build, I swapped to Assassin. Now I often lead kill counts at level 17, and when I don't it's because some PM has wailed their way 3 rooms ahead of the rest of us. Amrath should be fun. Dual wielding with the Assassinate ability often means I get two instant kills at a time in large mobs and then drop massive SA damage on the rest (I think it's something ridiculous like 12d6+14 damage). Combined with opportunist and a fairly high bluff score and my newly crafted lit2 rapier, it's pretty sick damage even on raid bosses like Harry and Suulomades. No reason to go with any other PrE unless they raise trap DC's or give Mechanic some ridiculously overpowered combat-based Tier 3 PrE like a ballista.

I did something similar with my halfling repeater rogue, except that I turned him into a pure rogue acrobat (would of made monk/rogue if I had monk.) I love acrobat even with only its two tiers and I was simply wondering if they ever put any information out so that we might have another class with finished Prestige Enhancements and know what to look forward since rogues at the moment are mostly two splash, two-weapon fighting assassins, or a deep splash.

The 3rd Tier of Acrobat is called Kensei I or Ninja Spy I.

They will come eventually but I guess there have to be some changes to the concept of the PrE's or the game itself to make them desirable at all. For acrobat it's the weakness of staffs as base weapons and the lack of synergy between sneak attack and thf, for mechanics it's the non-existing content for their improved mechanical skills and the still underwhelming ranged combat, especially with crossbows.

    Default complete PrE's

I wish they would give us those before new crafting/class/race/pre/content.

I mean seriously not just Rogue, but every single existing class that does not have T3 PrE's is that to much to ask.

Assassin is 1 of the best PrE's out there you can't really ask for much better with the U9 upgrade.

I would rather they looked to the other classes first, not Rogue.

I'm thinking we might see a T3 of mechanics soon at least, since they're doing a pass of repeaters.
