Default But I don't like to dance

So not sure if anyone else has noticed but since the 9 update Mobs are tossing a lot more dancing spheres than they used to. Guys who never did suddenly do (even on normal) and guys who occasionally did are dropping them like sorcs drop Wall of Fire.

Problem is my toons seem to love to dance and it's literally killing me.

So what can we do to stop the dancing... is a high will save the only option or are there spells that can render you some immunity?

I don't think Freedom of Movement helps, but perhaps Protection from Evil? Hmm..there is no Mind Blank in DDO right?

    ha ha.

My WF Barb didn't need one until the recent update.

Obviously having a high enough Will save will fix the problem, but is there anything other than a will save that can be done?

You show me a WF Barb who doesn't channel a little grizzly.

Well fine it's a lot more like Hulk Rage but hey... it fits right?

Spell Resistance, though that is not usually available in useful quantities by the time you face Dancing Spheres.

Aside from that, higher will saves are it.

The spell Break Enchantment can also clear out an area from them, and Gust of Wind also will blow them away.

also, if it still works, carry a bunch of the gems from the cove event, and bring a air ele friend along with you. Air elemental blow away any 'cloud' effect(Dancing spheres included)

Don't keep your party too close together, and the minute a sphere drops the people not hit kill the caster. it's not a perfect solution to what you're asking, but it's all I got.

Didn't know about it being a cloud effect. Would something like Gust of Wind then blow it away as well?

And thanks for the info. So far killing the caster is the only thing we have going for us, and that is when we are lucky enough to have someone not caught in the sphere.

And Lord help us if they drop a couple. Between the sleet storms and spheres I must admit the Computer has gotten a LOT better at crowd control.
