Just my message to those who are freshly reaching cap and are starting to run raids and epics. Try and realize that not everything has to be done the same way, not all builds are the same. If someone does something you are not used to it is not the end of the world, especially in this game where the epics are easy and there are innumerable viable tactics. Been running into this alot lately where new(ish) players assume they know everything about every instance/class/spell/ability , just relax and maybe accept that there are always things unknown.

Just my 2 cp for the day.

I've seen this one guy putting up LFMs like "High DC Caster, awesome heals, 3x insane DPS"....

And his LFM sits...
and sits...

He even has the LFM up for content that I want to do. But if he's looking for High DC casters for, say, Partycrashers? That quest where you blast some marks, kill five rednames, and collect your chests? Yeah, I assume he's an idiot.

It gets better. The WF tank comes, and blows, can't keep aggro. Spend another 40 minutes watching a substandard DPS take on a raid boss solo because any one of the other 11 party members can pluck aggro near instantly.

I also like people flipping out if they're in EV6, I'm on my Bard, and I refuse to give them FoM. Me, the Runner, and whoever stays on Base 1. That's it. I'm sorry that Ice Storm slows anyone else for the millisecond they're on that base, but... oh wait, no I'm not sorry.

Also - DI Cleric not needed for Ice. Super easy folks. Unless you don't take your Madstones off (girl, you know who I'm talking to :P).

There are some things in life that, yes, I do take for granted. I take it for granted that I will always have haste, and rage, as long as there is one icon in party that can pass it. I assume that if a Bard is there, there will be some sort of Inspire Courage tossed out.

But silly stuff, like "ZOMG we need a cleric and a enchantment archmage/palemaster and stunning monks and .. and .. and .." For effin Tide Turns?

I think out of the all the completions of VoD Ive done on my cleric, Ive seen about.. 1 WF tank 'tank' it, and he was horrible :/.

Was it Ii..on? God I swear last time I was in a VoD with that guy he said he could tank, that he had uber DPS and that he would easily get aggro. Turns out he had no fort, 320hp, and HORRIBLE dps.

If you listen to half the advice given out in game nowadays, you'd swear the key to a max dps barb was to split level-ups in CHA and INT (to make a balanced character, you see).

I'm excitedly awaiting the next interesting build style.

If you are leader that is fine but realize its a two way street and those Puggers may have a much easier way of doing it than what you want because they have run it 50 times.

Then they should put up the LFM. 50 times is nothing. Too many people are too lazy to actually put a group together, but wake up and never stop running their mouth once the quest/raid begins.

I get a kick out of someone trying to talk over me when I or someone in my guild has the star. We've done every raid 100's of times, some of them 1000's of times, using just about every tactic, and if I don't have the star, I just follow what the leader says--maybe I will learn something new--I don't pipe in and talk over them and try to take over the raid.

I agree with you 100%, but then when I've proved how different CAN be good, you say I'm a bad player.

But yes, there isn't one solid 'way' in any quest.
