Renown Drop on low lvl guild

After few... issues, here we go we are in a lvl 8 guild. While used to make 300k renown per day, in this guild, renown NEVER DROPS ! Like 20k per day maximum ! Is that normal, just a way to avoid multi spawning of low lvl guild growing easily, and it comes quicker after, or is that not normal at all ?
Even simpler to explain : just did 2 tod and didnt get ANY RENOWN from it. Neither end reward nor monsters or chest

There should be no decay until you hit Level 25.

THe only way to lose decay on a low level guild is people leaving.

I dotn see how you could be Level 8 if you were getting "300k renown per day" though. one day would put you at level 18..

So you're saying that in some other guild, you used to make 300k renown a day, but in your current guild, renown never drops?

I know you used ToD as an example, but keep in mind that being over the level of the quest makes it less likely you are to get renown from chests. Other than that, though, I don't see why you shouldn't be getting plenty of renown.

That's EXACTLY what i mean. We should be around 20 at least. And we only have like 30k atm... while we farm renown (ev2 ransacked, ev3 heavy farm, tod, shroud repeat, eDQ entry....)

Renown drops are based on lvl, but since ToD is a lvl 20 quest, I dont think that is the issue. What I suspect is the issue is you are limited on how much renown you can earn in a time frame. I cant seem to find any of the old data on the amount (or if it was removed).

Well original guild was house V. Now we all (or almost) in Sabotage. House V lvl 71 (32 now after we all left). 28 accounts, 2 inactive (26) and had 2 recent departures.
Sabotage got 20 accounts atm but will be back to kinda 25 or so i guess.

Well : just ran epic von3 with 5 non guildies to check if it was changing anything. They all pulled at least 5 trophies of any kind + trophies with monsters. I didnt get ANY SINGLE RENOWN from the whole quest + end reward. Add to this people currently farming IQ to check that, people farming scrolls in all packs to see renown from monsters.
Our renown didnt move from last trophy that got pulled in eOOB (2hours ago).
I'm also farming gianthold with my lowbie TR... total of 300 renown or so gathered in 4 hours of farming this morning, with a guild bonus renown +150% (it's 100% now we got some other accounts back)

I also noticed recently on my main that I was getting zero trophies, etc.

Switched characters and I started pulling them.

Switched back and nothing.

Are you sure you are in a guild?

You said you changed guilds recently, did you actually get the toon into the new guild, or just drop from the old one?

Yup i'm leader and i got everyone back. When we got all kicked or left house V, we came to a guild called Feather Fail that we just created to gather people and find a new name. Now we are almost all in Sabotage currently lvl 8 and not moving at all. Half of the renown comes from a legendary i had saved from a end reward while i was in house V still, and that i took with 6 accounts into the guild + renown potion. 8k for free but only stuff i've brang in there... and i farm like a crazy trust me.

Ahh, ok.

You are getting renown. Good.

I would stop farming those quests you farm ad naseum. Soon as you moved to something else, you started getting renown. WAI as one would think renown would be effected by diminishing returns and ransack.

Well we tried every pack of the game, did also elite runs for favor to check everything. Renow is uber rare. UBER RARE.

Check you aren't "farming" ransacked chests, which afaik won't drop any renow.

Sometimes it is sometimes not.

For every level over a quest you are, up to 5, is -4% chance for renown to drop.

Renown is based off highest player level in party. If you have someone 5 levels over level of quest, no renown.

DDO Wiki has a great resource for renown, give it a thorough read as it is quite informative.

Well we farmed epic quests, almost all the epic quests, even those we usually dont run like House D or House P, and nothing ! I mean it, it's not we are forgetting something. We passed from getting normal renown to NO renown. Wouldnt make a thread if i wasn't sure of that.

Perhaps there is a bug involving changing guilds and counting as a recent departure from more then one guild?

Ya we though about it. Possible but need a GM to guarantee it
