Question Become a better radiant servant

    Hi,

I would like to know how it is possible to improve the aura that heals.
Currently when I activate the aura, the heals are only +13 HP
Yet I know that they can heal more each "pulse".
    How can this be achieved...?
    I am now level 15.

    Thank-you.
If it's working... dont fix it !!

I think Empower Healing metamagic affects the aura. As well as a Superior Potency VI item or a Superior Ardor VI clickie. Your enhancements, which amplify your healing ability should also amplify your aura.

Use superior potency IV or greater items for a 50% boost, or ardor potions/clickies for a 75% boost. Enhancements of course, and lore items like arcane lore or healing lore for more and stronger crits.

there are several threads that will go into greater detail on this, but as a quick summary:
Class enhancement lines that improve healing (life magic - Prayer of life - Prayer of incredible life ), the empowered healing feat (i think it still does) and either a devotion or potency VI item. An audur clickie will boot it as well.

I recommend you search a bit more and there will be threads with all the math.

    Hi again,

What is this superior potency VI? Is this a feat? I know I am now RS level 2, is there a level 3 for this?

    Thanks for the help.

for the best aura: (75 or so a tic to yourself and 160+ a tic on crits)

    Race human.
take all 3 healing amp enhancements (10, 20, and 30%)
have 3 healing amp tiers on items (10, 20, and 30%)
equip the finger necklace (its healing amp stacks with above)
ship buff for healing amp (stacks with above)
past life paladin X3 (5% boost to healing amp each life)
use a shroud ardor clicky instead of potency or devotion item.
    empowered healing feat
having the PrE itself also boosts the empowered healing feat from 50% to 75%
class enhancement lines that improve healing (life magic - Prayer of life - Prayer of incredible life)

I think that is everything a pure cleric could do. There is more some splashes could do to boost it a bit more, but the above is about the best you could reasonably (and easily) do. I had all of the above except past life pally and the enhancements that affect healing crits and I was getting 65 a tic /120 crit auras to myself and 25 a tic or so to most people around me. Healing amp is probably the biggest factor.

It's an item enhancement. You'll start seeing it on random loot at either level 14 or 16 minimum level. Superior Potency VI appears most commonly on clubs, sceptres, and daggers, but can appear on other weapon types. It gives a 50% boost in damage to all your healing and damaging spells, so it's the best thing to use once you have one since it also affects damage spells. Once you get a potency item, you no longer really need to use a devotion item.

Ardor clickies on the other hand, are still beneficial. A Superior Ardor 6 or better click will boost your healing power for that level or lower spells (and your aura) by 75% instead of 50%.

In addition, make sure you max out your Life Magic enhancement line. The Prayer of Life line gives you a higher chance of getting a spell crit on your healing spells and aura. The Prayer of Incredible Life boosts the power of those crits. It's your preference if you want to take those lines or not. Healing Lore (and Arcane Lore) items will also boost your rate and power of healing aura crits, and stacks with your enhancements.

Sarisa is spot on with the mechanics. When you start in Amrath their are two belts that both have three uses of three minute Superior Ardour.

Make sure you have the Gloves from the Reaver raid too

With all the boosts in place your Radiance will hit for 24 pts and crit (18%) for anything up to a 100 plus, depending on healing amp. It really is a powerful boost especially if you have the build to get close with big combats/end fights and saves the other healer/s a ton of mana.

On top of that you can fire off the odd burst as well which heals a lot more and gets rid of some nasty effects. The burst is also a killer weapon against undead and can crit for over a thousand damage. An end Charisma score of 20 gives you 10 uses of Radiance which is more than enough to sustain the aura continuously through every combat of any run

As a note the Staff of Fleshshaping can be found in the end chest of Quest Sinister Storage or as an end reward to completing the series and may be easier to get your hands on then the gloves from the Reaver raid.

It has Superior Devotion/Nulification VI and Major Healing/Void Lore along with Efficient Metamagic Empower Healing II (SP savings)

Draw back is that it is two handed.

Ardor clickies will net 25% more then a Superior Devotion item.
