There are a lot of posts in here... but has anyone mentioned the fact that it is called a Scepter, but it is a Light Hammer by type?
Edit: Nevermind, I found the posts about it.

So.. i heard there might be an axe that is semi-comparable to the eSoS, yet 10 pages later still no pic. I want all them next page clicks and time spent reading "who plays more casually" back dammit!
*Spoiler warning* - Mania & Solipsism madness
Friends have been trying out all the others & will be posting about them soon.
Highlight this post with your mouse to read it, clicking on an area and holding your mouse down while moving in a diagonal line. This section is for Mania (Dance):
Mania madness effect was disappointing. Hopped into Lord of Stone on casual. Gathered a bunch of stuff & let it respawn a few times. Chance of activating seemed between 15 & 30% on the golem's immune messages.
The gargoyles were saving 9 out of 10 times. After 15 gargoyles there were only 5 dances before they had all killed themselves on my incineration guard. Kwizqjirqtl's 21 dc resistable dance was landing a lot more often. The mania dance is just like Otto's Resist & lasts 30 seconds when it hits... 1% of the time if my fuzzy numbers are close.
Crafted item remained BTA and level 14. Could be silly fun to use with an alt at ML & on favor runs like that Terror sword in IQ. I didn't see a way to remove the madness effect.
For item designer: My disappointment in this effect is biased, I wouldn't wear any of the gear on my current characters without a madness effect. If it was a bonus effect on something I'd have used for other reasons instead of a crafting choice I'd have liked it. My archer will likely use the Beholder Plate though if I finish pikin... leveling her current unfun Savant life & TR, but other choices are much more attractive.
What I was hoping for: A 3 to 8% chance of either Irresistable Dance (prettier!) with a very short duration, or a nearly-irresistable Song of Capering dance with at least 15s. That one breaks as we attack it.
Solipsism (Daze) below here:
Erethyl tested it out for awhile. Possibly no save, there were no blue hexagons. Was working on around 5% of the hits --- not based on criticals like the Crystal Cove shield. Lasts 5 seconds. This seems like a fantastic addition for any archer, and very useful for melees.

This is very consistent with my experience. Been buying stuff prudently off the AH to deconstruct. Took about 10mil plat to hid mid 40s and 15mil plat to hit lower 50s. If I could do it all over again, and optimize the heck out of it, I could probably do mid 50s for 10mil plat, but that would take very careful planning.
That does sound about right. Through a combination of just breaking down quest rewards and spending about 1.5 million plat, I got to the low 40s (41, 42, 41 if I remember right). But if I were to have sold all the stuff I broke down (I've been breaking down everything I can't sell on the AH for at least 50kpp), that would have been at least another million plat. And I can already see that it's going to take at least as much effort and expense as it's taken so far to get from the low 40s to the high 40s -- leveling up crafting really does get exponentially more expensive. I expect to spend at least another 2.5 million plat to get up to the high 40s/low 50s.
It's been cheaper for me than for some others because I've done a certain amount of breaking down shards I've previously constructed, for the additional XP and essences. It's incredibly tedious, so I've only done it for a couple of hours, but it's definitely the least expensive way to level.
Khyber: Runforr 13/6/1 Rog/Ftr/Mnk, Bakup 3/3/1 Mnk/Pal/Rog (TR Pal), Faylah 14 Mnk (TR Mnk), Janthyra 12/7/1 Brb/Rog/Ftr, Ainbthech 20 Sor, Fliethas 18/2 Fvs/Mnk, Unfilled 12/6/2 Mnk/Rgr/Ftr, Arcanemark 10 Wiz "Don't eat us dragon! We're like you, but smaller. And fly worse." - Kobold Crewman on the Heart of Wind
These are crazy numbers, are people honestly throwing that much plat at leveling crafting? With just deconstructing quest loot and getting greaters from chests I've hit around 52/46/46 from memory and haven't spent a cent on the auction. In fact I've gone up about 1.5mill plat simply because I now find it convenient to auction stuff (bank/mail/auction/decon all close in crafting hall) that previously I would have vendored .
Maybe I should have been selling my essences.
To some of us, they aren't very crazy figures..
I'm not nearly as rich as some player on khyber, but to me, 10mil isn't much.. Friend of mine have assets well over the 200million mark right now. I used to value things mainly in red scales, and the gear my main character alone uses values at over 100 reds.. At some point that was equiv to 100milion. And my 2nd barb has pretty much the same gear.
Think over my years of ddo, i've burnt well over 500million plat, probably much more.
Don't see any reason to conserve it, and grinding out those kinda craft levels from straight questing alone seems like a pretty crazy grind to me as I don't play much these days.
