Maybe half of the DDO community does this already, or it's a new concept. For those who don't know it:

For ages I've been running Shroud ddoor then complete, finding separate pugs for each run. Hoping that a jack-wagon (used by R. Lee Ermy in a comercial so okay for forum use) doesn't hit the altar before those not completing can get out. Really bad when I'm planning a guild run as the second run. Relatively rare occurance, but happens enough to make people nervous.

Now I'm leading the pugs. Mostly guildies/friends but generally with a pugger or two. I came up with the concept of a double-run. Group agrees ahead of time to run parts 1-4, regroup, then run for completion. No longer does anyone have to look for another pug to run in. Same group. Same skills, Same tactics.

Most players I know will only run the Shroud twice to avoid ransack. No worries about someone hitting the altar since we never get to that point. No wasted time killing Harry, no plat cost for additional repairs. Second run I ask at the end of part 4 if anyone is planning on ddooring it. I have yet to have someone speak up to.

I'm so enjoying Shrouding now. In fact, I have a feeling the puggers we had in the last run will become regulars.
