Default Hand-warps: 10% more attacks over TWFing?

Is that the right number? 10% more attacks over TWFing?

if you are a monk with flurry of blows and centered , yes.

No one has really nailed down the number but it is on the order of 10% , some say 12%.
i have heard estimates from as low as 8% to as high as 15% but having a monk I think 10-12% is more accurate from my experience.

    Thanks . . . AO's DPS calc doesn't account for this but I wasn't sure.

I use 12.5% as the increase.

    It depends on several things:

    1. Total boost % (Jorgundal's, Haste, Haste Boosts).
    2. Off-hand process rate for the TWF, i.e. Tempest.
    3. Double-strike rate for the TWF, i.e. Fighter 20 or Zeal.
    4. Double-strike rate for the monk, i.e. what stance is he/she in.
    5. If Boosts exist, whether either build has Quickdraw.

With all that said, you can get a rough bead by assuming 15% boost (Haste) and equal processes (100% main hand, 80% off hand, Fire/Earth stance): 111.3/102.2 = 8.9%. (Numbers taken from this thread.)

So handwraps are definately a good option for monk splashed tempest rangers? I know i love using my mabar wraps with holy burst tod ring on undead, would love to get smiting wraps for constructs, seems to work well vs 100% fort enemies handwraps that is, also they get 100% str bonus on the off hand strikes right?

Tempest can play strangely with handwraps. I know you don't get the Shield bonus to AC from it.

You certainly get full Strength bonus to off-hand.

Considering that there is no armed equivalent of the Mabar wraps, I would say that they at least are definitely a good option for the character in question.
