As usual please take this information as entertainment only. I'm not trying to brag or whatnot just Khyberize Vanshilar's excellent guild horse race thread. Notes - this is actually from 5-1/5-30 since i have time today but not the rest of the week. blah blah blah

Top 12 Guilds (Total Renown) - Renown Growth over Time



Top 10 Guilds (Net Renown May)



Top 10 Single Days in May



All Guilds Level 50+ (Net Renown May over Time)




Special Section - Renown Decay/Growth

This is the renown growth of all guilds by guild size (using members -> 150 small/151-500 Medium/500 Large only level 50+ guilds surveyed)



This is the what the renown looks like by type. By looking at this, you would determine 2 things -> 1 small guild bonus is too high and large guild decay is too big. However, there is a problem child big guild in these numbers who tends to punt people every 4-5 days. By taking them out, we get...



Now all of a sudden it looks like Large/Mediums are in line with each other. Although the power of large guilds should be noted on the weekend of a new Mod launch. Now what if we take the 5 problem child guilds out (Wanderlust, Gimpin, Pilchards, DD, Dragonblood)

I don't Neesya or Trols have an issue with that term

DD has had half or more of its members very inactive for the month of may. most of them are just now returning to playing like machines though
think its rl things mixed with the release of new games (witcher 2). i for one have been crafting a lot

Oh, I belong to one of them as well (Gimpin). I call them problem children because they break the mold on the guild renown formula and cause the bigger guilds to scream about decay. If you take kalevala out of the equation the rest of the small guilds are actually lower than large and medium guilds as far as renown generation. I do have one more pet project, which is to combine Gimpin/Pilchards/Wanderlust together and see how much base renown they pulled compared to any of the larger guilds.

Laeris was telling me the other day that he has some plat farmers working for him over at the pilchards.. Well not really, but kind of or at least there is some speculation. I have been trying to keep up the Prophet's flag hitting the Epic Dq1 chest sacks with 11 character or so and a bunch of the guys are levelling like maniacs and looting the renown. Darn Wanderlust plays all day and night the sickos saw some on last night leading a raid at like U.S. primetime bah Aussie/Kiwi grrr. Got to win the Khyber renown title for the U.S.A. except my guild leader is Canadian so we are winning this one for Canada haha..

My guild is consider a very small guild (9 people) thus the bonus earned from guild reown is 3.54x normal (used to be 4x couple months ago with only 6 people in the guild).

The main reason is that for most of the month, you were outside of the threshold of the pull (first 3 pages). At first I was only pulling in the top 2 pages, but I expanded it to 3 this last month (which ended at level 51). So for May I have you hitting the bottom of page 3 on 5/21 at level 52 (7,247,711 renown).

Awesome. We broke into the top ten for May. Looks like our new recruits are working out nicely. Excellent charts, btw. Good to see it all laid out like this every month.
