If you have 17 clr 3 monk you have spell pen of spell lvl 17

If you have 17 clr 1 wiz 2 monk, am i correct that the spell pen form this is 18?

(obviously this is only part of the total spell pen calcualtion)

You spell pen should be either 17 or 1, depending on the class you're casting from.

I believe that you would still only have 17 caster levels for divine spells for spell pen purposes.

Yes. Full calculation is 1d20+caster level+spell penetration bonuses (Includes Feats, Enhancements, and Items.)

I think what you are saying is that you get 17 caster levels applied to your SP, so yes.

No. You would get a caster level of 17 when casting cleric spells and a caster level of 1 when casting wizzy spells.
