    Default Spell DC's?

How do I determine my spell DC's? Can someone share a link that I am not finding in my searches that better explains this for my spells and turn undead? Also how do I benefit from my cleric past life +1 DC to conjuration? The only offensive spell that I see that is a conjuration spell is meteor swarm. It seems to me unless I am building a turning type of cleric I am getting the shaft on my past life feat. Am I missing something or will my DC improve my pets and heals as well?

    http://ddowiki.com/page/Difficulty_class

Web and, I think, Acid Blast are conjuration.

Edit: Oops, sorry. Web and Acid Blast are of course not available to divine casters. Was thinking Sorcerer somehow. The link still provides useful information. And the past life is useful if you decide to TR to Wizard or Sorc.

How do I determine my spell DC's?
Base spell DC is the level of the spell + your wisdom modifier +10. So a 30 wis (wis mod: 10) cleric casting blade barrier (level 6) has a DC of 26.

You can add spell focus feats, spell focus items to improve this.

The Heighten spell feat increases the DC of the spell to the highest level you can currently cast (making the above blade barrier into DC29 once you are level 17).

Also how do I benefit from my cleric past life +1 DC to conjuration?
This will benefit using healing spells to hurt undead. Not much else. Very few divine spells use conjuration and are offensive in nature.

The only offensive spell that I see that is a conjuration spell is meteor swarm.
Most acid related spells are conjuration, but they are also arcane.

For Divines, aside from the healing line, you have Deific Vengeance and Cometfall.

It seems to me unless I am building a turning type of cleric I am getting the shaft on my past life feat.
Not all the past lives are equal. They probably should be, but we don't get to make that call.

Am I missing something or will my DC improve my pets and heals as well?
Pets do not vary with your wisdom. Heals will benefit only when used offensively against undead.
Kobold sentient jewel still hate you.

Thanks guys, now I just wish when you searched "Spell DC" in the wiki search it would bring that to the top of the search. Because the top results I got back were useless.
