    Default Pale Master Immunities

Are PM immune to poison, I found that they are to disease but not anything about poison? Thanks.

    Immune to:

    Poison
    Disease
    Negative Levels
Critical Hits (well I should say they have 100% fort naturaly, but that can be reduced by effects to under 100%)
    Death Effects

Pale Masters should be immune to drowning, but aren't (underwater action item is still required).

Pale Masters are immune to most forms of fear. The fear effect from Chill Touch can still fear a PM, unless you're immune from another source (like Greater Heroism).

Immune to hold monster/person, shouldn't be immune to halt undead. Also, immune to soundburst stuns, not sure about other sources of stunning.

PW:Stun will stun a PM if memory serves. Pretty sure I got hit with that in Eye of Stone from the medusa a bunch of times when running it.

Not immune to PW:Stun I think. At least I remember getting PW:Stunned in epic partycrashers when I was still PM. Hmm, does this mean we can PW:Stun undead? Never tried but gonna.

Niether GH nor a fear immunity item blocked the fear aspect of chill touch as of a month or two ago.

    Has this been fixed?

(Combat): you hit Fallow Ghoul with Power Word: Stun.
And it works! PW:Stun works on undead! It was one of my new favourites and this ranks it even higher.

    I wonder:
-Can PM be vorpaled (vampire should be, others should be immune by the rules)
-What with spells that have other effect against the undead? (Does PM takes more damage from sunburst, and does PM in vampire form must make reflex save or die)
-Is PM resist to standard instakills like finger or slay living?

I'm not sure about vorpaling. That would probably be best tested out in a PvP area. If deathward no longer affects PMs, I would assume insta-death spell immunity would be built in. I've tossed on my Silver Flame Necklace in the past, but all that really did was consume charges of my Death Aura instead of healing me. I don't recall being insta killed by beholder death spells or by Kasquick the Mighty's vorpal attack in the Shroud.

PM are quite susceptible to light damage from Sunburst and Searing light in both Lich form and Vampire forms. I've been hit in excess of 200 damage per searing light on Elite Running with the Devils. I'm not sure about the reflex save or die. That would seem to be a "death effect, but I've never encountered it as Lich (I don't mess around with vampire form much).

I have definitely been "Shaken" or whatever from the whelps in the Abbot raid and I have also been both "paralyzed" and charisma drained by Dream Stealers in the Dreaming Dark quests. Those are things I know Pale Masters are not immune to.

A guildee and I specifically tested FoD against lich form in a brawl yesterday. Lich form is immune to FoD.

I'll verify next time I solo epic Last Stand. I know I was recently feared there, but didn't have GH up at the time.

Or go into Litany and let Kai-teng beat on you while you self heal. Eventually he'll roll a 20 (vorpal).

I've been hit with a 380 pt sunburst in normal Siegebreaker while in vamp form, and since I had around ~330 hp at the time, I poofed. No idea if that was regular damage, or if it was an instakill effect that rounded up my max hp together with temp hp I had at that moment.

This is the reason I gave up vampire form, the x 4 light damage. Wraith til 18, is my new motto.
