    Default Dark monk water striding

Devs: Make it work! Well in some water it works, but for example in water in vale it doesnt.

Btw, I recognize many known bugs, lag problems, etc. which are persistent during many updates. I guess priorities are set to bring more p2p content than fix bugs. But hey, products that dont work as expected will be replaced later or sooner.

problem is it treats the water as X amount higher where X was some really weird number that was probably how deep the test pool was... so anything deeper than X means you're back to swimming in water.

I would love for this to work (I'll meet you guys at running with the devils... *takes time and kills things including the portal rare on the way there*)

This is just not true, it works in abbot (deep water) and in the harbour (deep water). It also works in the demon's pit in Into the Deep (very shallow lava). It does not work in the vale which is of moderate depth.

OP, where can you think of that you actually need waterwalking? Abbot.. yes, although it already works (probably even a bug that you don't die). Vale? Useful I guess but not a huge deal. DQ? I suppose it might be of some use if you fall down on low health and need to get to the platform but then again, it already works in there. Point is, there are a lot of far more serious issues that need the devs attention.

Its not the need to waterwalk. Its that a proposed feature is not working properly. And it isnt patched within many updates.
Dark monks should be able to waterwalk. But obviously on some places it doesnt work.
Just imagine, you pug for coalescence chamber. Its sooooo cool if you run on water to quest, where all other need to swim. Its a style issue of dark monk.
Style is fun. Fun is motivating. Bugs are frustrating.

I also dont think that this issue has priority to other flaws of the game. I dont say that devs should shift priorities to fix it. A solution can be that turbine should hire more developer to fix all bugs.

Quality control is the key!!! rather than implementing new stuff/packs thats are bugged.

Just remove it and replace with somthing actually useful...

I mean, A ability that has use in two quest thoughout the game*madstone to get the key.* and abbot, is a completly useless ability, not to mention it doesnt even work in madstone!

but alias, helping monks is at the bottom of the to do list, just behind making everything in the store free...

But I still have the right to complain about bugs which are annoying to me? Hope so.

Anyways, I am not talking about priorities of bugfixing.
Its a bug, so fix it. Thats the point.

I LR'd my Ranger11/Monk9 build into a Monk12/Ranger6/Fighter, and happily picked up goodies such as Abundant Step and Ninja Spy 2.

Test Water-Walking in harbour, vry awesome and fun

    While in party...
*Party is enroute from Meridia to Let Sleeping Dust Lie
Me: Hey guys , check THIS out!
Party: Ugh, your swimming. Whats new?
Me: ARGGHHHHH! The Ability does nothing!

    Fix it turbine...

And in the Sands it works... It's really fun to be able to use it. I, too, wish it worked consistently. But I'm so happy with abundant step that I don't mind waiting for water walking to be fixed.

    Edit:
Just ran Crucible... There's water in there that is hard to swim because of the current. Striding worked! It was awesome and it surprised most of the party because they had never seen it before - first comment was "*** is that a bug?" Haven't really tried it since I TR'd. But for once I was happy to have it.
