    Default Are servers down????

Benn trying to login all morning, I get to the loading screen and go thru all 20 attemots to connect to the login server. I have tried logging into a different server and the same thing happens. So makes me wonder if the servers are down or what. I am a paid VIP so dont think its the que but I dont know for sure. Had no problems logging in late last night/early this morning.

Maybe its just that full on G-Land? I only run on Khyber, and it was fine. One way to test is to grab a different server real quick.

I've been on most of the day. No problems getting on and the server seems well populated.

Problems connecting to the log-in server seem to be fairly localized and client-side, especially if you've tried various servers.

Wish I had more to tell you then "just keep trying and you'll get in eventually!"... but really that's about the best you can do. Honestly, when I get enough timeouts after 20 attempts that I get frustrated, I find something else to do for a few hours.

    Good luck to ya.

    Howdy,
Try this. It fixes everything. Well maybe not everything but it seems to help with a lot of my interweb issues.

    1) Open command prompt as admin.
    2) Without quotes type "ipconfig /release" the hit enter.
    3) Without quotes type "ipconfig /flushdns" the hit enter.
    4) Without quotes type "ipconfig /renew" the hit enter.

Tried that and still getting the same connecting to login server attempts up to 20. *Sigh* guess I'll play Daggerdale on my 360 and try later

How far are you getting, exactly?

I had a similar problem recently, it was solved by switching to the compact client (third button in the top right corner of the window, I believe). No clue WHY that would help, but it was suggested by one of the devs and it worked, so I'm going with Because(tm).

I get to the load screen right before the character select which is where it goes thru the 20 attempts to connect to the logon server. After it hits the 20th try it pops up a window stateing Connection failed: Client timed out the connection.
