Game freezing and or causing computer to restart

For the past 3 days everytime I log on to ddo everything is fine for about 30 secs and then the screen freezes and I can hear something like the game sounds skipping like a record. I have switched from Hi rez to regular and ran a full system scan for viruses but everything is good. I can play all other games but not this one. Help!!

have you tried disabling your sound drivers to see if that makes any difference?
