Wondering how much this is worth?
Eternal Wrath - Kages - Prototypes - Rest ful - Musei - Dizafrabdont - Enkou - Kagehissori - many more"To be human is to have the freedom to control one's own fate." ~Karl Marx~
In the last two weeks there has been 7 pale lavendar stones on the AH, all for bid only and all went for the max bid of 2.1 mil
I'll give you a Planar Gird for one.
(Guys, Shhh! /wink)
keep it for now. put it in the bank and resist the urge to sell it. It is one of the most sought after items in the game and is good for all classes. make your decision after you read up more on its use.
also do not equip it for now as you will never be able to sell it later... if you decide to...
don't let the wolves trick you into parting with it for now
In all honestly, I still don't get what the big deal is about the item.
You can stay in for Velah's Breath like twice - cool... or just get out like the rest of the party. It's not as if staying in confers some super awesome benefit.
You can survive an Inferno in Abbot.. neat. Now you're the one person alive of 12, and the Abbot eats your other spell charges in like three seconds. Now you have no Roids, no Ice Wands, and 11 stones that may or may not be on the platform.
You can avoid some spells in normal questing... like 4 spells. Cool. The first 2 casters... woo.
I understand that Market Value is entirely up to the masses with tons of plat, not me and my common-sense rambling. But certainly, the market value of this item isn't likely to go up over time.
Agree partly with your line of thought. The same can be said about a bunch of gear... "why should i use XXX weapon instead of abcd when the difference is just 2".
its an mmo.. and shiny pink stone revolving around my head makes me (and a lot of other folks) happier (and it goes well with my robe and hair do)
and i am asking him to hold on to it not for market value but to check if he sees a possible use for it at a higher lvl.

It's pretty amazing for TRing. Throw it on at level 5 and don't worry about being affected by spell damage for a very long time. Not that those levels are necessarily hard, but it makes it way easier to do hard/elite at level, especially on a low will save class. The part I like the best is that it doesn't use charges when you make a successful save, just the failed ones, and at low levels it only uses a couple charges per spell.
Edit: some high level applications: re-haste in ToD without fear of a badly timed banish, prevent curses.
Thanks, think I will hang on to it for awhile. While 2m+ sounds nice I'd rather want it and have it than want it and not.
Just bought one in the AH for 400k buyout.
Yes Aneist, it was ONE second after you logged out for the night.
