Just bought one in the AH for 400k buyout.

LOL! so you're the second sucker who fell for that in 12 hours eh'. I watched it go from 300k buyout to 400k buyout at about 9pm yesterday, then it disappeared, well.. shortly before your post here.. Hasn't been back since..

To others... You might want to be aware that the old Ioun stones are still very much out there and will not be vanishing anytime soon.. Anytime you buy one, take the extra 2 seconds to check weather it has suppressed power or not, this is the only way to prevent yourself from getting totally boned like Erika obviously has... of course, if you happen to purchase a 20/40 Pale Lavender Ioun Stone in the next few weeks, well.. you'll know who to blame..

When you put it that way, I revoke my comment that you're a "sucker" and apologize for any offense, none was intended. I meant a victim of a very cruel person who seems to have gone to great lengths to rip off his fellow community members.

What I see, is a link to a post by a seemingly anonymous poster who not only chopped up several screenshots to make it appear as if it is maybe possible to upgrade said "Old version of a Pale Lavender Ioun Stone", but actually blacked out names in the screenshots as if he was afraid of some sort of recourse. This link leads to a forum post 3 days old, for someone attempting to sell an Ioun Stone that is, well.. Identical to the one I saw on the AH yesterday with 20/40 charges left (though he claims to be reporting to Khyber?), and was attempting to SELL IT??? Really?

Well, I am very interested to know how this turns out for you, and will see if I can't dig up an old stone and attempt to upgrade it myself.. I mean, the guy could have at minimum created a video in which he upgraded the stone and was so happy to report his find that he wanted credit for it no? Something about that link really stinks.

My favorite part was that the poster was trying to sell a Pale Lavendar unsuppressed for 8 LDS in that thread, all with the screenshot to show that the OP was telling the truth.
Let me know how it goes if you find one Omber, am curious myself now.
