Can't believe people actually give a **** if someone pikes in von5..unless its on epic or at level who cares? It gets done faster with a few key people doing it then 12 people trying to do the work of 4 ..least that's my opinion..I dont even consider von 5 a raid its more of a meeting point for the real thing to me.. True, it doesn't take that many, the problem is when one person is having to do multiple things because someone woudl rather stand at the beginning then every try and do the puzzle. Or people stand around while the north side is being worked on instead of getting ready to grab the coffer, etc etc. All these things can help take a 40 minute von 5 to a sub 20.

I admit, I didn't run von for a long time. Since I've started running it, I try to help on everything. Yeah, I suck at the puzzle, but I'll work on it while others are getting the power up. I can do any job in there, but many of the people piking are clueless.

I think it's more about habit and behavior with people. When people start running this they zone in for the first time see 3/4 of the party sitting there doing nothing what do you think they are going to do?

It's more that he wants to break a bad habit of people as opposed to allowing it to grow.

****, bend and I were in an at level Von 5. Took like 60 minutes because we were the only 2 doing the majority of the work. Everyone was afk piling so took forever to get the north open.

Now we have people zone in to part 3 of shroud and won't even attempt their puzzles. I am going to start saying alt f4 will bring up the puzzle solution. The more we left everyone slack of, the longer runs take, the more acceptable it is seen as and then player quality continues to decline.

Personally, I am not in a huge guild, or in the exclusive chats. I pug a lot of raids and I can tell the difference in quality when I am running with good players versus random puggers.

Started doing something new for von5 myself;

Pikers can pike 5 all they want, but you will NOT be able to roll on ANYTHING that does not have your name on it. Don't care if you are running around breaking **** boxes, keeping WF off the puzzle guy, or running from one side of the Raid to the other. If your sitting at the entrance waiting for everyone else to do all the work any rolls you make on loot in 6 will NOT count with me in the lead.
