Caster, TWF Elf Scimi Build?

So this would be my first Favored Soul build just beginning to tease it around. Was thinkin' Elf, TWF Scimi build, but want to be able to cast too.

Starting Stats:

STR 14
DEX 15
CON12
INT 8
WIS 17
CHA 10

Haven't got much farther than that, and frankly don't know much about the class yet, just beginning to poke around, comments (or links to a pure Elf FvS TWF build) appreciated.

Most builds I've seen are either melee/healer, or caster/healer...doesn't really seem to be a blend. I've been playing a melee capable cleric (Cleric 19/Fighter 1) and have found that, in normal content (I'm not much for epics) he could land destructs and implosions reliably...would this sort of build be able to do the same?

Sure, *in normal level content* you will be able to land destructs and everything else just fine. Normal level content is pretty much trivial.

I do not know why you would ever need to melee in normal level content given that you should never be running out of SP, but you certainly could.
