For Raffle Marilith Scroll. Pls Read.

As some of the others have already said, its your choice to take that risk. I know this individual to be very trustworthy and had no problem entering the lottery. However, I wouldn't mind if there weren't so many people taking part in this, better chance for me :-)

If you don't like the raffle, don't join it. I for one have joined it. It's all about trust, and the man posting this raffle is in my humble opinion very trust worthy. So good luck to all who have joined the raffle, and happy hunting out there.

It is entirely possible that this raffle is legit and that the OP has every intention of carrying out the lottery as fairly and as transparently as possible. When the OP has just 11 posts to his name and the character that is taking the entry fees is a disposable character and two posts in the thread supporting the raffle are previously unused, disposable accounts, it does make the raffle look a bit shady.

If you use your main account and have people send the entries to the level 20 character that actually pulled the scroll, you might end up with more takers if you do end up doing this kind of event again. This looks like a scam. It is entirely possible that this isn't a scam, but the OP did a poor job of presenting it as such.

I look forward to seeing the results of this raffle and I especially look forward to seeing how the OP will present evidence that the raffle was fair and transparent.

I can certainly understand the concern that players have had regarding this lottery. I decided to post a brief comment given some of the more aggressive responses. Of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion :-). It is also admirable for those individuals to have placed a comment in order to warn others of a potential scam. However, for those who may have have missed it the OP did post all of his toons on his main account and an explanation for using his bank toon:

Ahhh i thought the screen shot would be enough. Guild-less toon figure seemed pretty not fixed in any way, i am not in anyway taking preference. I am keeping all entry fees on that toon atm, some were sent to other toons so i sent them to that toon. Further, this is also the account that i thought i linked to my game account. If you really must know ive also been kind of promoting this raffle in game, and alot of ppl know who i am already. Since your so worried though here's a toon list.

brillohead (a bank alt)

Further, I also didnt want to be bothered on the toons listed with the exception of brillohead... but bother away. I suppose your entitled to know who you trade with, so there it is.

In the end there were two rolls of 100. These two entries rerolled with the following result.

Ending with Kanglo winning the scroll.

As intended I have also returned the entry fees of all those who lost. The fact that the entry fees were being returned of course was not posted as I would have received an entry from practically everyone.

And what you missed is that he sent the entry ingredients back to those who didn't win (BIG SURPRISE). I don't think there is anybody else who would have been so generous, certainly not the majority of the naysayers posting in this topic that's for sure.
