Changing sale method in interest of fun. 1 Large Devil Scale or equivalent will get you 1 entry into the raffle to win the scroll. The entry period will be 1 week. In order to enter ... send me a pm here on forums and we will trade or mail me your entry fee (to brillohead) and you will be added to my list (list of rolls will also be posted here).

1 LDS =

2 Stone

4 Shrapnel
or
5 Arrowheads
(chains and bones not accepted.)

*clarification ..1 lds to 2 stone. The above accepted or a combo. If you have something special we can discuss it in pm form here.

From the time of the close of the raffle you will have 2 days to join party with me and roll 1d100 ( high roll wins ) and screen shot your roll for your own benefit. Your roll will also be posted by me here on the forums. If there are multiple winning rolls, I will send mail asking you for another roll, and once again you may screen shot. Results will be posted here on the forums.

Well i thought if i did a drawing it would be less transparent. If i did rolls and they could screen shot their own roll, ppl could contest who won the scroll quite easily by putting a screen shot here on this thread.

Ahhh i thought the screen shot would be enough. Guild-less toon figure seemed pretty not fixed in any way, i am not in anyway taking preference. I am keeping all entry fees on that toon atm, some were sent to other toons so i sent them to that toon. Further, this is also the account that i thought i linked to my game account. If you really must know ive also been kind of promoting this raffle in game, and alot of ppl know who i am already. Since your so worried though here's a toon list.

It's an interesting change to a standard sale, but there's no way I would enter something like this unless there was a cap on the number of entries. You could potentially get 100 entries, netting yourself 50 reds for something worth about 15 and reducing the odds of winning to next to nothing.

Yep, a cap on number of entries would be better. Or multiple prizes for 2nd, 3rd, etc. places in addition to a cap. So you'd still get your 15 reds definitely for handling raffle.

Or we can just wait just a bit longer for the chance that desert scroll drop rates will change or other items become enhanced.

Edit: 1 LDS doesn't seem so bad if there are 15 entries...when is the deadline? ;]

Also, since the rolls are done on an individual basis, what's to stop you from rigging the roll (or redoing until a 100, and then screening that) so that a friend (or even a secondary account) is guaranteed the scroll? It's very easy to pull off and nobody can do anything about it or even disprove it, and it's also win-win because your friend would get the scroll for 1 lds, but you would receive the full 20+.

This unnerved me as well. Better to have raffle style I'd say and say the roll is at such and such date at such and such time, then put up an LFM and the first 12 people who have entered to hit the LFM get to be there to witness the roll.

My opinion is if you don't like it don't bother with it.

I have entered the raffle myself since i know floating is trustworthy.

if i win then woot. if i lose then woot. i joined knowing that i have a small chance of winning and a large chance of losing.

unlike other people who sit and moan and complain about the raffle.

you need to understand its a Raffle.

As some of the others have already said, its your choice to take that risk. I know this individual to be very trustworthy and had no problem entering the lottery. However, I wouldn't mind if there weren't so many people taking part in this, better chance for me :-)

If you don't like the raffle, don't join it. I for one have joined it. It's all about trust, and the man posting this raffle is in my humble opinion very trust worthy. So good luck to all who have joined the raffle, and happy hunting out there.

Oh, I agree, Floating is very trustworthy, but if this is something people would be interested in seeing more around Ghallanda, I think it's worth discussing how it could be better optimized. Nothing wrong with discussing the mechanics.
