Default Shuriken Expertise, suggestions for upgrade

The Shuriken Expertise feat is a great idea, but so far, in practice, isn't working out so well. I love ranged combat, but in DDO it seems to be lacking. I don't know the Dev's stance on pushing for more normalization of weapons across the spectrum, but I think it's necessary if they want things like thrown weapons, repeaters, and even bows to see more use in-game.

My thoughts for some upgrades to make Shuriken viable:

    Shuriken Expertise:
-Scaling with your Dex score is great, but needs a more severe upward curve. Double % chance equal to your Dex to throw another death dealing metal bit of doom.
-Double % chance equal to your Dex modifier to throw a third Shuriken, if a successful second throw is made.
-A damage bonus equal to or even half of your Dex modifier. How about the Dex mod damage bonus only on successful sneak attacks?

    Ten Thousand Stars:
-Make this 'always on' when toggled on. This would allow someone, to get into a kind of throwing stance. Even if you were out of ki, you could meditate enough points to get there. A perpetual 50% throw speed would help this weapon class quite a bit.
-Let this enhancement double your crit range OR double the crit multiplier, or a combination of both, +1 crit range and +1 crit multiplier.
-Make this enhancement attainable by any class with some requirement, 20 Dex, the Shuriken Expertise feat, Shuriken proficiency, or all of them!

More ideas when I get home from work, unless a Dev says something in the neighborhood of, "pipe down, Chatty Cathy, bad ideas are bad."
    -Qetsil / Sickcat / Dorktastic / Belir / Peachfuzz / Fysh / Sometime / Segment / Skwash / Pyg / Swetn / Smurfingly, And 2 nameless others
All Thelanis, all the time...FER SHIZZLE!

I'd say let all Exotic Weapons have a special ability built into them. If you have the Proficiency you gain the special ability.

Shuriken Proficiency has a 33% chance of throwing a second shuriken.

Shuriken Expertise improves this number by your dexterity score.

Khopesh Proficiency grants you the x3 multiplier otherwise its like a long sword.

Bastard Sword and Dwarven Waraxe have Glancing Blows

    Repeating x-bows have rapid fire

Kamas could have a built in bleed effect. Doing 1d4 extra damage on a critical or something.

Heck you could even have specific Expertise feats for the other Exotic Weapons

Khopesh could have a stacking +2 Seeker
DWA and BS could improve their GBs without the THF Feats since they are their own style and I personally hate the idea of them using the THF feats instead of being their own thing.

Repeating x-bow could fire 4-5 arrows per volley instead of 3

Kama could get an expanded critical or something

Oh and Monk Ki Weapons regardless of Ranged or Melee should produce Ki and work with many if not most Ki Attacks
