If you like harassing people because they declined you, this is actually funny (Kages). It alerts raid leaders to the fact that you are a tool, so we can put you on the "list" (see point two). You generally aren't making any sort of a point other than reafferming the reason you were most likely declined, and giving the raid group something to smirk about.

Interestingly enough I'm fine with that. There are enough people out there that know me and know my style so being left out of 1 or 2 runs is not a big deal. As for the tool thing, thanks. Complaments are hard to come by in ddo.

I used to rail against this exact same issue, until this weekend when I was the one who didn't decline.
I got a group of peeps together for Harbor elite zerg on my newly TRd FvS. Had LFM up for various quests, In Progress, BYOH type thing.

I didn't realize until we were in part 4 of WW elite that I had 5 people waiting in my LFM. Apparently with the 4 of us who flew through Durks, Info, Butcher's, Garrison's and New Ringleader, I never noticed that people had been hitting the LFM.

I apologized to a few of them, but then I got tired of it, so /meh.

Mistakes happen, this would fall under my benefit of the doubt notion as I would observe your group had not filled. After a couple or few minutes I would have casually found something else to do.

I leave people hanging alot when forming raids (I generally don't care with quests). This is usually because of one of three reasons:

1) A spot may open up in the future for that particular class, but I don't think I have one at the moment. I often have between 2-4 reserved spots when an lfm goes up, and I am coordinating the class mix with people who aren't even in the group yet. I like to keep people interested in joining in the queue in case a spot opens for them.

2) Your guild or you as a player has a bad rep and although I will accept you into the group, you aren't my first choice. I will wait for 3-5 minutes to allow more skilled or amiable players to hit the lfm before accepting you.

3) Your toon is under-prepared for the raid being run in some manner. I will allow a few of these in a raid, but more than that can be problematic.

If I am leading a raid and you want an immediate response just shoot me a message. I can decide right then and there (usually with a decline, but you never know).

Your reasons are justified, at least to me. But I could identify when the leader is thoughtful and decisive enough to share your reasoning, common sense can spot it just by staring at the LFM. Most of the time it's just an unthoughtful and indecisive fail leader though

I know it's not much of a comfert but it is people like me that make the decline button a no click. When I hit a group and there is no obvious reason why I would be declined other than the fact the leader is a prick. I will force that person to decline me several hundred times till he finally gives up and leaves me there in the pergatory that is waiting list. My apologies and VIVA LA REVALUTION

lfm for eChrono. hit the lfm, and no reply for 2 min, sent a tell and no reply, went on to finish a shroud, deconstructed the stuff, joined a VOD, the group fills and we enter the sub and then i get a msg saying i was rejected coz xxxx has filled his group (a good one hour later).
please hit the rejection button, i don't things to drag on. you are not my high school sweetheart

I keep having problems getting into evon6. Happened again last night. I've even solo's base 2 on ar when the extra bard ran to base 3 by accident. They did come back but I was already on the pillar by then.

Some of it is bad timing, I could have run with deij last night, but I was soloing dq when the lfm went up

Eh, it happens. Can't garentee a bard spot considering the over population of them in guild recently, but I will keep you in mind when next we don't fill.

Meh, when it comes to a healer you don't really need a whole lot. Specially a flavored soul, they have enough sp to go through without a whole lot a gear.

I can't garentee I'll be doing epics this evening, but I will be on Re****l attempting to get exp. Hit me up and we'll see how your Porkypoo does.

I spent a couple weeks soloing Invasion for the ardor clickly belt, that's the biggest thing I'd like even though most of the time I'm doing mass heals on myself. However, it would be very nice to have for EDQ. I have healed epic chrono and epic dragon. The chrono was a bit rough during the main fight, but that was also the first time I'd ran it on epic.

The only time I have mana issues is in ToD and that was due to a couple issues. My first ToD I solo healed, but blists was tanking on his high ac exploiter varient.

Honestly, out of all the epics I've run on Ar, there's not one I don't think I can heal on Pork. I'd just like a bit better gear in case of an "oh ****" moment, if you know what I mean.

Sounds like you want to get banned to me. This is kind of like the people who send tells screaming at you because you declined them. Not a smart thing to promote on the forums since it can be pointed to when someone reports you for harrasement.

Wouldn't say I "wanted" to get banned, just don't care when it comes down to it. In the end its just a game and I'm sure I can live without it. GW2 and swtor will be out soon enough.
