New to Crafting

Okay here I go. I understand making a blank. I understand making a shard say from +1 or more item. Making a shard say +5 striding. Putting a blank and this shard together. Now for the Question.. How do I apply the +1 or what ever shard to my new item?

I think the +1 enhancement shards are only for weapons and armor.

You move to the device next to you... The one that says "Bound Item Crafting" or somesuch.

I tried that it will not take the + shard I have them from 1-3 several of each. But thanks

I would bet you have a +1 Essence and not a +1 Shard.

You need to take the Liquid Knife, remove the +1 and then mix the +1 Essence with like 6/32 g/l Arcane & 9 Dragonshards, to get the +1 Shard.

Then you put the shard on the item. Making sure you do not exceed the value the item can handle.

Thanks I think you are right. I may just have the essence + 1-3 I have several.

Okay now I have the Proper Shard +2 where do I Go to apply it to my item??

You have your shard made. now you go to the altar with the "full shield" on it, There are three altars a Broken Shield (Deconstruct), a Diamond (Shard Making) and a Full Shield (Item Making)

But.. BE WARNED! While the Shards are Bound to Account, the Items are Bound Character! So if want to make this weapon for an alt, you must pass the shard in the shared bank account and let the alt make it, You will NOT be able to pass the item once made!

Well I was rather bemused they made the shards BtA and then the Items BtC when I found that out the hard way.
