only level one recipies

hello, I have tried many times to do some crafting and keep getting stuck at the crafting device. I am at least level 25 in each crafting school but when I go to the crafting device all I get are level one recipies...no matter what I try that's all I get. Don't know if I'm missing a step somewhere...I've read/listened to everything I could get my hands on but no luck so far.

Any ideas?

Station 1 - Deconstruction - No levels
Station 2 - Shard creation - Levels 1-75
Station 3 - Item creation - All Recipes Level 1 to add shards to items

My guess you are looking at station 3

You just pop in a shard you have made and an item you have keyed for crafting with a dust of disjunction, and crunch

So at station 1 disjunct the item you want to make, ie armor.
At station 2 make the effect shard you want to add to the armor.
At station 3 add the shard to the armor (on the character you want the item for, the BTA items become BTC)

Yes I am at station 3. Have done stations 1 & 2 many times...it's just when I get to 3 the only thing in the recipe book are level one recipies no matter what level of shards I have.

Thats as it should be, station 3 is for combining the stuff to make the item and can be done on any toon without crafting levels. only station 2 requires levels

Repeat. All the recipees in station 3 are level 1, ALL of them. This device doesnt give a cr@p what level the shard is.

okay I think I get what you are saying...which means you don't get any XP for the actual crafting of items...just the first two steps?

Only when your skill is very low, but you can take the shards you made and deconstruct them again for 1-5 xp and some of the ingredients back to do it again. Hope that helps

Yes they just reused the interface, so it says lv 1 and 0 xp just as placeholder.
Not pretty but works, and allows crafting on your alts by sending them the BtA shards.
