LOL First time I've heard the encrusted shortened to ER.
Inferring context - 1
Mt - 0
And Vander, I feel your pain man - My luck with the Encrusted ring sucks as well.

Probably one of the smoothest runs i've been in.
Yea,the rings are just a B**** to get.
22 runs and i've yet to see an Encrusted ring drop for anyone.(Didn't even get them for my 20th)
Maybe i should start praying to the LEWT gods instead of cursing them all the time.
Goodluck on your rings.
Take care.
Now I can feel a bit more confident to apply to runs that have "No New people" or "Know It" labels.
There was still moments during that run where I was kinda lost and looked at the map and realized I was the guy behind everyone (Mainly this happened when everyone went up the ramp to the portal before Horoth).
Yay for Ranger speed boosts
Sigue probando eventualmente te caera el anillo!
Kasik ~Rogue~ Fui ~ Barb ~ Emmeryl ~ Clr ~ Hilcias ~ Sorc ~
Cool kids play on Mabar!
I tend to not join those groups, even when I know the raid very well. Just says to me " I suck and need everyone else to carry me, so you all better know this raid!"
Most of the regular raid leaders and guilds forming them are actually pretty tolerant and helpful with new players.
I find pugging in the evening +10GMT timezone (Australia) much much better than the day time. Pug Von6 middle of the day? Forget it.
Mr D i obtain my fistr ring the other day, siberys!! I use it when i need to get more agro tanking.
Wow alguien de elite raiders que habla español!!!

today had to run a tod with 11 people lfm was up for hours it seemed, couldnt get a cleric or favoured soul till we got one, then decided stuff it just run with the favoured soul, and the bard healing and the wizard reconing. DPS was awesome one of the fastest runs ever on normal for me. We killed the jailor first seems easyier that way. Anyway at the final part most of the party voted to only kill horoth, funny enough the favoured soul was keen to kill suulo as well. Finished Horoth off and he still had 60% of his mana left, im sure we could of done suulo as well easy.
I just was supprised at how we could not fill a tod.
(just saying that eventually doesnt have the same meaning as "eventualmente")

It took me 17 runs to see the KotC ring even drop in the chest, when running ToD on my Pally. When it did, it fell to a kind cleric who passed it to me in exchange for some mana pots... fortunately, because it wasn't in the end rewards for my 20th completion either!
There may be a reason why clerics don't join... I only run it on my cleric with friends or when I'm incredibly bored, because the bonuses on the sets are nothing special... extra turns undead/more effective turn undead... meh. I'm more interested in getting a non-cleric set! I suppose you could still get a ring and upgrade it... but that's not what I'm aiming for on my cleric. There are other things that I want more from other raids/quests and so I'm more likely to run them than ToD!
Jackovall (Completionist Wizard - Life 23/23) -- Gilders PDK Tree build (Life 8/8) -- Zogdor PDK Rogue Mechanic (Life 10/10) -- Taykare Pure Warlock (Life 14/14) -- Sheo Bladeforged Rogue Mechanic (life 12/12) --
Double Deviants
Agree. Also, in an average PUG, not everyone is going to have DR breakers or equivalent high DPS weapons like they should; people are not going to always follow instructions, people are not always going to get their curses, tanks are not always going to have effective healing amp to be able to primarily scroll heal; and more.
While there are some great runs that won't cost anything but a few heal scrolls, the average PUG will cost the healers (both divine and arcane) a good bit. All that for a couple rings with near-useless bonuses (all of which prevent you from using a CON6/GFL belt), other rings that will get you yelled at if you take/roll on, and a pathetically low chance of +4 tomes. eVoN6 and eDQ are better sources of the tomes, easier, less costly, and have better loot outside the tomes.
You're pretty much only going to get offensive casters who really want the small boost the Rakhir's set gives; or melee FvS's as healers for ToD because they're the only ones who really benefit. I won't do ToD because there is nothing for me there. The only thing that I could really use would be a 6 CHA/1 CHA ring, and there isn't one.
