Default I go through ALOT of arrows

I have 6 quivers on my ranger and if I'm farming the demon sands, I have run out of useful arrows. I would like to be able to put same arrow types in multiple slots. I have very large thin quivers that hold 6000 arrows, 1500 in 4 slots, and since I have greater gnoll, undead, and aberration bows, all I need is 4 slots of +5 arrows. Now is that too much to ask for? Maybe house D returning arrows would better. Just a suggestion that I think could improve all types of storage.

    I have identified your problem.

    You're using a bow!

House D or arcane archer arrows are the answer.

Anything else will just drive you nuts.

    You're not an arcane archer?

If not an AA, then +3 returning arrows from House D

House D ammo is certainly a help. The differing Sturdy ammos stack seperately, so your quiver of 6000 would yield an average of ... <insert proper formula for figuring 6000 shots @ 25% loss chance for each> ... a LOT of shots.

Err you should be using your AA arrows?
    Otherwise House D returning arrows.
As an aside get Abbot flagged and get the Quiver of Alacrity from that quest. It gives +10% ranged attack speed

I would personally love it if they would make it so you could not only swap which quivers you have on but also which arrows you pull out of that particular quiver quickly.

I'm pretty sure it takes it out of the top arrow stack of your currently equipped quiver. Can you not just hotbar your quivers and click to switch between them?

you can not equip quivers with hot bars. you must go into your inventory and move them. clicking on them in the hotbar opens the quiver.

Yeah i have two quivers of alacrity and they are a proverbial pain in the rear to swap around.
You have to go into your inventory and manually remove one then equip the other

I just want to load my quiver with 1500 +5 arrows, 1500 +5 arrows, 1500 +5 arrows, and you guessed it 1500 +5 arrows. Is that such a bad thing?

You get Approximately Four Times as many shots from a 75% returning arrow.

you can drag the unequiped one over the equiped one and it will replace it and load its top arrows, assuming you have your bow ready.

It is still a major pain when you run out in the middle of a fight.

    Yeah, roughly.

I had flopped Notepad open to see just how much I'd forgotten in 15+ years...
I should've been able to scribble out a simple counter & percentage checker - but it's pretty much all gone, let alone current. Tis true, use it or lose it.
I should have my AOSCP revoked.

    Yeah the units would be
    (1000 shots lost)*(100% total shots/25% shots lost)=4000 total shots
cancel shots lost = total shots

or how many arrows you want for say 4000 total shots*(25% lost shots/100% total shots)=lost shots=1000

If you're a ranger using a bow as your primary weapon you should be Arcane Archer (100% returning arrows means you NEVER run out).

And no one seems to mind my 20 Ranger when he's using Slaying Arrows with a Lightning Bow and the raid bosses are dropping like flies at a fly-swatter convention.

Now all I need is a Vorpal Longbow and I'm set.
