A Question on the Term "Toon"

It has come to my attention that "toons" is being used quite regularly. As such, I have a single, unimportant, and likely not shiny question which will further add to the hate kobolds regular express toward me.


Is "toon" used as a shortened down version of Thoon making all characters Thoon incarnates?

Its a well-known fact* that the devs like to take control of our characters when we're offline & prance around in them, wearing our characters' skins like Jame Gumb.



*by fact, i mean complete fabrication on my part purely for the sake of a poor attempt at a combination of humour & staving off the boredom of the last half hour at work.

I'm pretty sure that's the dictionary definition of fact, so I'm confused as to why it's asteriskicized? Speaking of facts, asteriskicized IS in fact a word. It's contained in the same dictionary FuzzyDuck and I use.

Well I don't always like my characters to char so I usually take them off the grill before then. Preserves the flavor that way.

I flip flop 'tween toon and character... depends on whether i'm in a sour mood or if theres a new update coming THOON(tm)

As you can imagine Many of my characters were toons for roughly a year before the game went f2p.
