Bandy: Humm...think I'll check the LFM panel. Only one group up for this level range, let's check the comments here...

Needz invit to ship with Alter of Devistate PLZ.

Seriously peeps??? ***??? Is this the new " Shr plz. "?

If you're putting up these types of LFMs, or if this is the first thing out of your mouth when you join a party and/or someone joins your party, then you're just as bad an annoyance. I'm pretty sure the guilds with high level are there because they were/are willing to give up plat-generation ( by taking favor rewards over vendor items ) in order to help themselves and their guild. NOT to make sure that you can not do so, and yet still reap the benefits.

Anyways; That concludes Bandy's bi-monthly rant.

We've got a 3% for plat on board now, or we can go 4% for gold seal. Screw Rner's ship!

For reals, though. Other than resists, it's all just icing. The only time our 60-ish ship has been less than enough for me was when Rner told me his ship had a 5% expee shrine when ours only had 2%during my last TR grind. That ****'s a game-changer.

Whenever I PUG a late night raid (which is too frequently recently) as soon as someone joins there's an immediate "ship plz" request. Last I checked, random nublet #1 did nothing to help the guild gain renown and therefore they don't get an invite. It seems like it's always folks from the .... larger.... guilds that are all too eager to spam out ship invites and brag about how uber their level 70 ship is. If I see someone I don't know running around on our ship, they're getting danced. Which brings to mind this incident: James and I were running TRs - some random nublet joins the party and says "ship plz". James, being a nice guy invites him aboard and he says "You don't have the damage guy?!" I tell him we've got the damage buff by the navigator and he says "that's a strange place for it". Someone who doesn't even have a damage buff (or a ship of their own apparently) is commenting on our shrine placement. I then proceeded to rant about gift horses and mouths for about 2 minutes.

I have a very small guild.

Me and my guildies have earned our minor buffs and I am proud of them.

I do not want your buffs. They are not mine. I did not earn them.

I was completing 90%+ of the available content before there was a such a thing as ship buffs.

I can still complete the content without them.

    I do not need them.

In fact.....I am usually too lazy or too impatient to even bother going to get them.

I will not beg you for yours.

The other one you forgot to mention was the random tells from a toon you have never heard of asking for a ship invite to use your tier 3 alter. Really, if I dont know you at all don't send me a tell.

I don't mind people asking for a ship invite but I also ignore requests completely. It annoys me less than "shr plz" (which I also ignore).

the proper response it to dismiss from party immediately or drop group immediately. Argonesson is not for the weak, this is dragon territory

(Last pug) Thanks for letting me join your reaver. Can I get a ship invite?
    … time passes …
(Last pug) Why did you start without me? I hate you all!

Come on people we did most of this sh!t at level cap 10,12,14 and 16. You are now level 20 you dont need ship buffs to do anything outside of elite TOD. Stop asking.

"You have given out too much etc etc"

Saw exactly that last Reaver I was in.

The challenge in Reaver is keeping folks from killing him too soon. "No, really, stop hitting him, you ass."

If you don't serve bacon on your ship, I'm not interested

Funny thing is, I can see the day Joe will dismiss you from his party because you refused his ship invite to get the ubber, must-have-for-this-quest, buff of advance disco dancing.

If time is an issue, then I'll forgo the buffs. But I'll still ask for a ship invite for the sole purpose of using the navigator to get me there quicker.

If time isn't an issue, I'm buffing. Sorry, but there's no reason not to in this case.

And often times (a ratio of at least 5 to 1) I will be offered a ship invite rather than ask for one.

I agree on this. Even the crafting station part. If I had my ship up to the point where I can put alters for GS crafting on it, I would put them on there and invite people who needed it. Not everyone is running shroud when they can make their items.
