I was looking at arcane spells and decided that some of them were a bit vague in their effects. Below is a list of the spells I know that drop the save, feel free to add to the list if I missed any.
These are the spells I know that lower reflex saves:
Otto's Sphere of Dancing: Unstated in spell descriptor, but believed to lower reflex saves by -10
Otto's Resistible Dance: likely same as sphere
Otto's Irresistible Dance: likely same as sphere
Waves of Exhaustion: -6 Str and Dex
Waves of Fatigue: -2 Str and Dex
Ray of Exhaustion: Same as Waves
Bestow Curse: -4 to all saves
Crushing Despair: -2 to all saves
Symbol of Pain: -4 to all "ability checks" (a save is an ability check)
Solid Fog: -5 reflex saves
Slow: -1 reflex saves
Fear: -2 all saves
Enervation: 1 - 4 lvl drain (-2 per lvl lost)
Energy Drain 2 - 8 lvl drain (-2 per lvl lost)
Necrotic Ray: 1 lvl drained (-2)
Symbol of Death: Necrotic Ray effect each time mob enters it
I additionally suspect that the following spells do as well, but am not sure:
Web: Entangles the targets caught within. According to the Hyperlink, being entangled means taking a -4 to Dex, but I am unsure if DDO enforces this. (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/conditionSummary.htm#entangled )
Blindness: The targets takes a -2 penalty to Armor Class, loses his Dex bonus to AC, moves at half speed, and has a 50% miss chance. I am unsure if that "loss of Dex bonus" (which is the source of reflex save bonuses) drops the reflex saves or not. I would think it would, seeing as how the target would be unable to see the hypothetical fireball flying towards his face if blinded.
I'm curious if anyone knows whether web or blindness effects drop reflex saves or no; been looking for this information for a while so figured I'd put a line out.
