Fav Soul build advice pls..

I personally really enjoy playing a casting spec'd FvS. Myddo Foust if you'd like. Good DCs, HPs, SPs, and I've geared him up pretty well. Can solo heal whatever as well (but IMO that has more to do with player ability than anything else).

Feats I took were Quicken, Heighten, Empower, Maximize, Empower heal (yes i took both), SF evocation, Extend, and Toughness.

While sorc is still my favorite class, fvs is a close second.

When I TR my fighter, I'll most likely do the melee Wf, FS,
I'll keep the current human and try out offensive spell type path.

I do like to try out and find what I enjoy the best, on my own, done that often before I really set out to level up a toon.

Must have been a Wiz/Sorc in another life lol...

Can only imagine what a TR'd caster is like, must be awesome.

oh, brings to mind how much I enjoy it, was on vacation visiting my brothers, who also play DDO, (actually were the ones brought me into the game) they play different classes, we were outside, and the one Brother had trouble lifting something real heavy, I piped up ' want me to hit you with a GH? '.. we cracked up.

I wasn't the one who neg-repped Kages, but I can certainly understand why someone did. There are whole subforums devoted to character builds, and some of them are commonly known by name: Tukaw build, exploiter build, axesinger, etc. It is perfectly normal and acceptable for players to create characters that use builds posted in the forums. That's why the builds are there!

The reason people neg-repped Kages was that KalTheo posted a completely innocent, and in fact helpful, suggestion:



And Kages responded by calling that "copying" and "just lazy". (And yeah, he followed that by saying it was a "personal preference", but that's like saying "You stink. . . no offense.")

He would have gotten his point across without getting any negative rep if he had avoided the inflammatory wording and instead written something like "Looking at character builds can be really helpful when learning, but I think you'll be happier with your character if you build it yourself. But, sure, the Superior Soul build is a great one to look at for suggestions."

Whatever bro, think what you want, I will. If you even have the mental faculty to read everything I wrote then what I said wasn't negative to anyone. I stated a few times that your play style is your play style, do with it as you please. My personal preference is my preference take it as you will or get over it.

Natty, taking the empower, max and emp heal.. those stack correct? immensely boosting the healing cast? query tho; does this boost both individual and mass heals ???

Empower heal/empower/maximize work on cures/mass cures.
Heal and mass heal are only affected by empower heal.
Not sure if empower and empower heal would stack on cures though. I never had both feats on a healer.

Empower and Empowered Healing feats do stack, on your cures/mass cures, but really get inefficient after a certain point.

I have both only because i routinely heal using 3 spells: Heal, Mass Heal, & the FvS capstone (free cure light).

Mass cures are very inefficient with the way I've built the toon, but that was intentional. I only use them when necessary (and in eDQs, but they take like 2 mins so no biggie there).
