Default Which feat for my sorc?

I currently have a level 14 sorcerer ready to level but i can't decide on which feat to select. Currently i have toughness, heighten, empower, maximise, SF:evocation and will be taking quicken at level 18 as i'm warforged.

I've been an acid savant so far because most of the spells are no save so i haven't had to worry too much about dc and i don't have a single spell with spell resistance. So far this has worked out quite well and haven't had any trouble killing things but how will this style do endgame?

I'm quite resistant to getting instant kill or CC spells because of the spell pen and DCs needed to make them work. Can i just dps my way through endgame mobs?

I'm thinking of either grabbing GSF: evo, SF: conjuration, spell pen or extend. Is quicken necessary for a warforged. I know it will save my life on several occasions, but is it worth getting over the other feats?

First, I would drop extend. In the current game, extend only applies to buffs. At your level, most buffs should last an adequate amount of time. The exception being haste/rage/displacement. Personally, I don't have use for a feat that benefits only 3 buffs.

I am also a fan of quicken, there are times that you just don't want to be interrupted. Except for buffing, I pretty much never turn quicken off.

Lastly, the spell choices - in the last tiers - are extremely limited. Even if they weren't, you would likely want to have the occasional CC or insta-kill spells; I have no compunction, whatsoever, about grabbing spell penetration as a feat.

I think generally for a sorceror that Extend is better then Quicken. There are not many spells that take more then half a second to cast and are used in combat, but haste, rage, and displacement, you want to keep on and not have to look for it in your hotbars.

I accept that; I just personally don't care for it.

I really hate the casting time on OSOD, Cloudkill and Wail; and while that is just 3 spells as well, I find that I cast them far more often than haste/rage/displace.

How could he drop a feat that he doesn't have?

Wail is cast instantly for a Sorcerer, and if you are casting Cloudkill and OSOD more than rage/haste/displace and you don't have Extend then I would say that you are casting Cloudkill and OSOD entirely too often. Why would you not want to be Rage/Hasted/Displaced at all times? Unless you enjoy having 20 less HP, not having 50% miss chance and not moving as fast as possible (barring being a monk/barb or Shadow Walking)?!?Or do you leave a trail of Quickened OSOD/CK behind you every 2 minutes or less?
